Location, staff, very comfortable bed, good breakfast.

The property is in a very good location and easy to access. It is also neat and I enjoyed my privacy. Good lighting and a hot bath.

The heater in my room wasn't working and I'd have to sleep in the cold. I reported it to one of the members of the staff but still nothing was done

Very disappointing

There was no heat in the room and the beds had just a sheet and cover, no duvets and no blankets. It was freezing. We received an email the night before to order food but on our arrival was told the restaurant was closed.

Even there phone is not working and our whole night was destroyed due to them.. We slept in car

Loved the room I was in this time, was an issue with my original room and the staff sorted it brilliantly. As always the breakfast was great and overall another great stay.

Location, breakfast and bed was comfy.

No shower gels or soap which i had go beg for and toilet roll, breakfast OK, just lacks hosting properly. The owner with the feet on the bar was the last straw of never coming back again. She needs to sort this out, or the business is finished.

The room was great for the price but amenities were basic. Simple things like lamps in a room and ability to turn up heat would be massive

Location in town was handy. Competitively priced. Excellent Breakfast.

Rooms above restaurant / bar area without any well sealed fire doors, at the time of our visit there was a party in the restaurant / bar and the noise was insane until gone midnight, after which time the noise transferred out to the street into the early hours....

the staff were friendly and helpful, the brakfast was good and cooked fresh on our arrival, a good choice of cereals, and bread for toast making, coffee machine for our choice of coffee. the room was claen and serviced everyday.

The room was very cold on arrival and took a long time to heat, there was no heating in the bathroom or towel rail. there was no spare toilet roll and the one in the room was only half full, I think probably an oversite, like no tespoons on the tea tray. Toilet rolls were left next morning, but still no teaspoons. No emergemcy nunber on the information in the room either for nights.

The room was cold heating not hot Tv would not come on,unable to look bedroom door from inside. Reported to reception was told no one available to look at it 40 mins later asked again was told again no one was available so I left the key on reception and left for a 2hr drive home could not recommend this hotel

Good value for money, friendly staff, lively bar, comfy bed

We had the housekeeper or one of the cleaners knocking on our door at 9:55am this morning and saying we need to leave, bearing in mind the check out time is 11am, luckily we were awake but we would’ve been very frustrated if sleeping. Also, we were given only less than a 1/4 of a roll of toilet roll between the two of us for a 1 night stay, I understand we could’ve asked for more but we feel a full toilet paper should be in all the rooms, regardless of how long the stay is. Also bear in mind that there are no soap in the rooms, you can get soap if you ask in reception, but I feel there should be atleast a handwash in the bathroom.

The hotel was centrally located and good value. The room was clean and the breakfast well cooked.

On my arrival, there was some disagreement as to whether breakfast was included in my booking, which a phone call resolved in my favour. Also the restaurant was closed (as it was Sunday) despite the information already given that it was open Wednesday to Sunday and I had had an email asking if wanted to eat on arrival. The person booking me in wasn't very friendly. The fire alarm went off unexpectedly and apparently it was a test, but I hadn't been informed.

Central, clean, friendly staff and pub down stairs is a bonus

The staff were friendly and very good. Good food in the evening and at breakfast.

The bed was very uncomfortable. We were awake most of the night as we couldn't get comfortable.

Breakfast included and was reasonably priced.

The room smelt damp and the shower grout was mouldy. Pipes rattled noisily on times
