    Pros +

    • Bed comfyRoom bigGood location from motorway but not noisy
    • Very helpful reception, changed our room to avoid climbing the stairs. The room was a delightful surprise in its size, comfort and quietness.
    • It's in such a convenient location. It's clean, feels safe, has good parking, and is easy to get to.

    Cons -

    • Bathroom ok but needs updating. Crack in the sink and needs a new bath and worktop. Ok but not as nice as other budget chain hotels.
    • We were travelling south and the hotel was on the other side of the motorway. The instructions on how to find it could have been better.
    • The bathroom was quite smelly (a plumbing issue?) and is just quiet tired with the peeling MDF.

Spacious room and all that we needed for a 1-night transit stay :) Comfy beds and a good night's sleep :)

    9NiallPosted on: 6-30-2025

    Clean, good value. Staff great.

Location incorrectly given by booking.com meant I had to walk extra hour after long day hiking. Sort it out!

    6DavePosted on: 6-5-2025

    It had a bed

Old, very very old. You’ll never get that smell of smoke out the carpets. The yellow (used to be white) hair dryer is probably cheap to replace, just saying!

Bed was comfortable, bathroom clean and location better than we expected when the shortcut off the motorway to get off the motorway was explained to us.We arrived early and wanted to check early but there was nobody on Reception at 2.30pm so we had to take our bags with us when we headed off to Upton - the long way round. Found out about the alternative route when we checked in later that evening which saved about 30 mins on our journey!

Friendly staff, easy to find the room and things were assessable

The bathroom needs a good clean and the carpets.

A very convenient motorway pit stop for the night with a dog-friendly services area next door where there is a supermarket and various food outlets.

The decor is a bit dated but the hotel offers excellent value for money. I would prefer if the hotel did not charge per dog - just a one off pet charge would be better.

    9ChristinePosted on: 4-29-2025

Ground floor as I had a dog with me. Easiness of getting outside.

Could not figure out the shower to work properly..

    7CatherinePosted on: 4-28-2025

Near to where I had to be

The charge for per dog this should be charge for per room as its only 1 deep clean that's getting done so ifc1 dog £10 3dogs £30 it's still the same clean

    9PamelaPosted on: 4-27-2025

Space to walk dog. Proximity to showground within reasonable distance

    Bathroom aroma not 100%

    Bad

Putting in a complaint. Room was dirty and we had broken windows. Couldnt open then and they where unsafe.Taps in bathroom where discussing. Floor in bathroom was dirty. Shower head was rusty. Not impressed after spending long journey on road.

    6AndyPosted on: 4-27-2025

    It was fine no complaints.

Heater did not work got cold at night with no heat.i didn't ask for a quiet room I asked for a room upstairs which I was given. So all good.

Spacious room. Functional for a service area. Although you are somewhat limited by the venue. Nice bath in my room.

Location means there is little around. But that was my choice!

Rooms are good and big enough and staff are very friendly

I don't think any thig was bad only WiFi was not working properly

    10HannaPosted on: 4-22-2025

Super friendly and accomodation stuff, pet friendly, clean and comfortable room.

    9AngelaPosted on: 4-22-2025

Location is good for convenience, the beds are very comfortable and clean. Lots of hot water and the shower is great.

    6LianaPosted on: 4-21-2025

Convenient location and staff were friendly and knowledgeable on local area.

The bathroom was tired and in need of updating. The bath/wall panels were swollen from water and had chunks missing. The taps on the sink weren't even a matching pair, and something was dripping all night. The heated towel rail was also rusty. Limited power sockets, only 3 one of which was used by the tv.

Always good value for money, it isn't a 5* resort but it isn't meant to be! I stay here twice a year for a trade show nearby and for the cheap price, it is ideal, convenient and exactly what it says on the tin. All round perfect for my needs.
