Pros +
- Lovely location staff very friendly..food excellent..
- The staff were lovely and welcoming. The inn is attractive and the setting is quite unique. Lovely bathroom with a bath
- Beautiful location right on the waterfront, very friendly old style pub with bags of character. Very cosy & quiet (pub closed at 10pm). Variety of cooked breakfasts from light snack to a monster - very tasty
Cons -
- Unfortunately we stayed when Storm Ingrid hit so high tide was a bit scary. The car park felt vulnerable but it was ok.Quite expensive for a room with no breakfast
- Would have preferred a king size bed.Access to the carpark could be a bit tricky in Spring Tides, but could always park further up on the raod
- This is the second time of staying and for us the mattress isn’t great (either too soft or needs replacing).

Location was beautiful. My son stayed for one night and it was very comfortable.
From the minute we arrived we couldnt of been made to feel more welcome. The staff were incredible and the food, drinks and location were on a par to.We stayed two nights ate there twice as well as enjoying the breakfasts bith mornings. If we are in the area again the Wilcove inn will be top of our list.
Nothing the whole experience was perfect.
Nice tranquil location. Great ambience, really felt at home from the moment I arrived to a such a warm friendly welcome. All staff went out of their way to be helpful. Spacious well appointed room. Good beer and dinner menu
Neither of these was a real concern, but there was no internet and breakfast options are a bit limited.
The breakfast was very good and the staff very helpful and friendly. The location lovely and very relaxing.
Nothing Everything was very enjoyable
Friendly, helpful staff. Lovely room. Tasty full breakfast.
Fridge in room not needed as could hear it in the night.
The location is brilliant and lovely and quite staff could not do enough for you food is great very popular pub
Beautiful setting, comfy bed, peaceful. Good sized room with chairs over looking the water and Plymouth, having a mini fridge to keep drinks cool was a bonus. Breakfast was delicious as were the two meals we had during our stay. Staff were really friendly.
Lovely little local pub, clean and good decor.
Down a very narrow drive but once down there it was very pleasant.
The warmth of welcome especially the loveliest lady on Sunday, so nice to talk to.Good food, not pretentious. Thank you Dave for a beautiful breakfast too.
Nothing at all.
The location was lovely, over looking the River Tamar, there is a pair of binoculars in the bedroom so you can look for wildlife ! The room we stayed in was large / comfy / clean. It had a TV in the room and also coffee making facilities. The bathroom had a bath / shower / sink and WC - all clean and well stocked. The staff were warm, friendly and very helpful.Breakfast was good and we thoroughly enjoyed sitting and talking to the lovely staff.
My only complaint (and really that is too strong a word) there was 2 bottles of water in the room but they were both sparkling and it would of been better to have 1 of each.
Large room with beautiful views. Staff were very friendly and helpful
Room was a little tired. Nothing major, but could do with a makeover.
We’ve been a few timesSince 2020 and it’s a very tranquil spot to watch the tide come and go and the swans / ducks. Great welcome and food. We met many new and old staff and they are all lovely
That we can’t comeMore often !
Excellent, small, intimate pub with two rooms. Very clean, comfortable and spacious room. Food and service very good, but what made it excellent were genuinely very friendly staff and locals. Would certainly go back again.
All good.
