    Pros +

    • Lovely room, lovely location. Disappointed with breakfast, advertised as included when booking, advised continental only on arrival, so not as advertised. Obliged to pay £10 for cooked options.
    • Peaceful. No outside street lights, minimal traffic
    • The room was a good size and and the view out the window was lovely.

    Cons -

    • The shower flooded the floor, leaking around/under shower screen. Luckily enough spare towel/s to mop up. Looking at trims, it would appear to have happened before.
    • Bath felt unsteady
    • Every time when I or anyone move it’s very loud. I was put near the family rooms I can hear everyone walking past my room and I did tell the receptionist but nothing was solved. I can hear the children running and screaming all night. The menu is not a lot of options too.

Loved the location and the staff were lovely and very helpful

We had no hot water for a shower. It was really hot in the room during the night with no way to turn the heating off so didn’t sleep well and because the pool didn’t have timed slots it was filled with lots of children so didn’t get to have a swim

Wonderful friendly staff. Wide ranging menu. Splendid breakfast. Comfortable warm room.

The staff were all excellent - without exception everyone was welcoming, helpful, efficient and friendly. The bed was very comfortable and the continental breakfast was good with a good selection and a pleasant environment.

The overall feel of the hotel could best be described as "tired", with chips off paintwork in many places. The bathroom was very disappointing indeed: the basin tap was loose in its fitting and the operating rod for the pop-up waste was completely missing so we had to prise the actual waste up with our fingers. The bathroom lighting was very dingy, both the overhead light (very dim) and the illuminated mirror - I don't understand why you would instal an illuminated mirror with only dim light! To be fair the price we paid was very reasonable, but all the same I feel the Beaulieu Inn is in need of some freshening up.

Friendly staff, nice location and spacious room and nice bathroom

Hoovering going on late at night, couldn’t get to sleep from the noise of hoover and furniture being moved about

    Great location, nice cheerful staff.

Not cleaned to high standards, bath/ bathroom in need of refurbishment.

Lovely location, good facilities and common areas were really good

Room was dated and not completely clean. Black around the bath tub, and thick dust. Tv didn’t work but they did attempt to fix this. Room is dated and double bed very small.

    Friendly staff clean rooms

Very poor sleep twin beds were tiny more like children's beds , the room was so hot struggled to sleep there was the noise of the vacumn going after midnight, didn't feel it lived up to a 4 star rating and did not feel it was good value for money

The staff were all so helpful, friendly and keen to make sure we had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. The hotel is comfortable and cosy rather than bland and corporate. The continental breakfast included in the cost is exemplary with so much choice and delicious ingredients. We didn't need to upgrade to cooked breakfast as we were full from the continental!

    Nothing to fault our stay

Location very good quiet. Room clean and warm just right for the January time of year.

Breakfast location was in the next building and needed coats to get their in the winter. which was ok for us but could be an issue for some.

    8IainPosted on: 1-26-2026

The location is great. The room in need of updating but the rest of the hotel was lovely. Pool was good for rainy day.

Dated room. Drift was cold and menu quite limited.

    9MelaniePosted on: 1-26-2026

Exceptional value for money. Beautifully appointed hotel, very friendly staff. Bed was large, very comfortable. The towels (which can so often be thin and tiny) where gigantic and fluffy! The swimming pool was a real treat as well.

The heating was turned up too high, which made the room a bit uncomfortable. We had to turn the air conditioner on in the middle of winter! But I suppose everyone has their own comfort levels and rather have warm guests than freezing ones.

    7PatrickPosted on: 1-25-2026

    Staff, location and room mostly.

Shower was poor, restaurant food basic but pleasant .Bed bit hard room spacious but for a deluxe room no fridge, safe, biscuits etc.

    7RandellPosted on: 1-24-2026

    Bed was so comfy

Room was extremely hot with all windows open and fan on which made the stay uncomfortable to have a good night sleep,

Extremely Dog friendly Hotel in heart of the new forest but close to amenities and attractions. Staff were amazing and helpful. Loved we were so close to wildlife and saw countless ponies , boars and cows.

    Nothing .
