Great location, helpful staff
Bed too hard
Very close to ferry after long journeyChef/cook in morning at breakfast was great.
Nobody at hotel had to pick up key to room from the pub, prob because of time of yr. room was minute, barely big enough for a couple and very expensive.
Very good breakfast, superb harbour view, very close to ferry terminal and to bus station
Breakfast and dinner was very good
The room for 3 could have been a bit bigger, needed hooks for towels etc.
We very much liked staying at the Ferry Inn. The evening meal was delicious and the staff brilliant. It is in a great location - next to the harbour and in the middle of Stromness. We really liked the atmosphere.
Offer of breakfast bag due to early (0500) startProximity to ferry terminalFriendly staff
Price (£200) for one nightThe fire door banging all nightThe ‘smokers’ from the British Legion outside the back
Excellent location and good breakfast.
Rather overpriced for a smallish room.
Was only here for one night, but had an extremely comfortable stay. Service was lovely and the breakfast full of great options too. Would stay here again!
Lovely location and able to join in the event at the Royal hotel on the Saturday evening . Comfortable room .
Bit musty when entering room and no where to sit to relax . Keen for us to finish breakfast even though informed latest slot we could take and we were there
We arrived after dark from the ferry. Google maps took us who knows where. Actually the place is just across the road! Very accessible.
Signage was too small, not lit up and hidden by white tent awnings!
Good menu, nice decor and very clean. Good location and friendly helpful staff.
Small portions for the price at dinner, one evening especially. Disappointing that the bar closed so early as very few other places to go. Especially for residents. This was a pricey stay.
Lovely clean room, comfy beds, great food in restaurant. Good breakfast
This is a great place to stay in Orkney. We had a great time. The restaurant on the ground floor is one of the best on the island and it is recommended to book in advance. Breakfast was nice, too. The location is nice with available paid parking right next to the hotel.
We loved our room, it was well arranged and fitted out with everything you need; the bathroom was very good, and a pleasant surprise in its size! It was so convenient to the ferry, bus, links, and walking around the beautiful downtown streets.
Hard to say! We loved it all and only wish we had booked two nights.
