Large comfortable room with excellent bathroom, tea and coffee facilities (with fresh milk). Friendly and attentive staff. Good food and wine in the pub/restaurant, No TV - which I think is a bonus!

There is no breakfast facility - not a problem for us as we were travelling around and there are plenty of coffee shops etc where you can get breakfast in nearby villages

Very tastefully decorated and furnished. Good facilities for tea/coffee making and fridge available.

I would have appreciated a breakfast.

This was the most comfortable accommodation I have stayed in the UK. Huge bedroom sitting room and bathroom. Very comfortable bed and Victoria could not do enough to help us.

There was no tv - but I didn’t need it so wasn’t an issue for me. Just need to be aware and take a good book!

Lovely pub with very friendly staff. Rooms were spacious, clean and a great shower. Dinner was excellent. Parking was easy and a good location to get to the M4 easily.

Beautifully decorated with fab attention to detail, bed was super comfy. Staff were so welcoming and couldn’t do enough to help. Pub food was great.

Not criticisms as I understand why they aren’t available but for other guests it may be useful to know.No TV in room - so take your iPad if you want to watch film /tv.Breakfast isn’t available at Property Small communal kitchen area / with fridge/coffee & tea making facilities would really benefit from toaster / microwave if staying for more than one night.

the room was exceptionally well decorated and furnished. the bathroom was well fitted and the whole room was spacious, comfortable and luxuriousamazing value for money

The proprietor Chris, manager Victoria and staff were wonderfully pleasant and helpful throughout and made our stay a great one. Contemporary style inn with a very high attention to detail. Our stay in the green room was excellent. Firm, comfy super king size bed. Beautiful, large bathroom and walk-in wardrobe. Food and drink in a cosy bar was really good. Nice front beer garden. Car park.

No breakfast served in the bar but kitchenette outside the room with table and seating. Tea and coffee machine. Refrigerator present so either pop along the road to the cafe or bring a croissant with you.

The room was really nice and the staff was so kind. The big plus is the restaurant at the ground floor of the property with very good food. I recomend this place, thank you very much for your welcoming!

The exquisite decor and location were perfect.

I think I was the only person there. It was very quiet. And, the pillows were too wide/big for me but then I am a petite person

We had a family event in the village so location was perfect for us. Short drive to Cowbridge, which is a lovely town. Would definitely stay again and recommend.

Breakfast wasn't available as the kitchen didn't open until later. Ok for us as we had family in the village.

Beautiful pub and room, lovely location

No TV in the room which for the price we paid we thought there would be one (not a major issue but perhaps something to look at)Also had to go ask the pub cleaner for towels in the morning as we had none at all in the room on arrival.

DESPITE BEING A SO CALLED DELUXE ROOM, THERE WERE BASIC FACILITIES MISSING.NO TVNO BATHNO HAIR DRYERNO TEA/COFFEE MAKING FACITLIES IN THE ROOMONE BEDSIDE TABLE LIGHT MISSINGIT IS WORTH NOTING THAT THE WHITE LION IS NOT A HOTEL.SO TO CHARGE £123.50 FOR A ONE NIGHT STAY IS UNACCEPTABLE, AND CLEARLY UNCOMPETITIVE WITH OTHER ESTABLISHMENTS IN THE AREA

Surprised there was no TV or hairdryer. Bathroom sink taps needed attention

The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. There was plenty of space to relax and make yourself feel at home. The shared kitchen area was also a lovely addition to our stay. We had a roast dinner at the pub and that was excellent too.

Can't think of anything. Worth noting it's room only but plenty of great places nearby for cooked breakfast. Little separate kitchen with tea, coffee and a fridge.
