The Snooty Mehmaan - Boutique Hotel

The property was very clean. The staff was outstanding! Shout out to Sayyid, Ali and Ollie (sorry if your names are misspelled) and the rest of the staff. The restaurant food for dinner was fantastic!

Mattress and pillows were very firm.

Exceptionally clean, great service, fantastic staff and food. A real treat for a night away. Fulfilled exactly what I was after. Rooms were perfect and clean, very comfy bed and decent bathroom, all very clean and tidy. Would not hesitate to recommend.Food was lovely from the restaurant, service brilliant, very attentive and professional.

Nothing it was perfect

The hotel was conveniently located for our trip to the Formula 1 British Grand Prix. It’s located in a lovely open area just a short drive from Oxford & the Cotswolds so there was plenty to explore even when we weren’t at the race. Our room was spacious and well air conditioned with a large, comfortable bed, a big shower, & room darkening curtains. The cooked breakfasts in the restaurant were excellent and the staff were exceptional.

Nothing - it was ideal!

The parking lot attached to the hotel was very convenient. The air conditioner cooled the room great and great hot water. The made to order breakfast was very nice as well. It was a great location for visiting the Cotswolds. The staff was very helpful and kind.

We had a really lovely welcome at the Boutique hotel and were personally led to our room. The man even carried our bags which was a lovely touch. The room was clean and modern. The food at the Snooty Mehman (especially the Indian options) was excellent.

The pillows were a little hard and the breakfast could've been a bit hotter (Full English).

Every thing was excellent it was our birthday weekend and the staff went the extra mile to make it grand,, message greeting on the room tv two birthday cards and a cake, A BIG THANK YOU for everything

Location

The location was just outside the main town of Faringdon so travelling by car provided independence. The staff were all very helpful and welcoming, making the experience personalised. The food in the evening was very nice as was the breakfast. Both of which leveraged the culture and theme of the hotel. Bedrooms, facilities, and parking all made our stay frictionless and enjoyable. As a base, it is ideal to tour the Cotswolds.

Minor comment for potential improvement would be to provide soft pillows as an option.

Great location, rooms small but cosy. Shops and cafes nearby. Short walk to station.

Such a warm welcome - we are not used to people helping with our luggage. Room was comfortable, there was good attention to detail. Enjoyed the breakfast menu with its mix of English and Desi options.

Great owner, lovely room, lovely meal, great breakfastJust one issue…. Cleaners banging, hoovering, loudly talking at 0640??asked them to be quiet but just got abuse, manager said he will deal with them!

Staff members were polite and friendly and the manager was very helpful. Would strongly recommend this property for your stay. The restaurant was very clean with a wonderful menu.
