Strand Hotel

I loved the location and the cozy rooms. Staff were very helpful and welcoming. The only thing missing was the fridge in the room.

Comfortable room, quiet, clean. Good bed.Not very fancy bathroom, but with a powerful shower. Lovely dining room and delicious breakfast. Very friendly, helpful and personal staff.walking distance to the central Station , shopping district,restaurants and museums .

I take me money for one room i was do booking and after was close the Door nobody here nobody answer to the phone no send code nothing in the night stay ouside and take my money only that i dont was sleep there

The hotel's owners have put in a lot of effort to make this hotel very unique and succeeded. The rooms are very comfortable and tastefully decorated. A great breakfast and location, near to shops and restaurants, even the station if you're arriving by train.

The location was excellent, close to the shopping center and restaurants. Breakfast was excellent and the staff were very friendly. The bed was probably one of the comfiest I have slept in. Would definitely stay there again.

Not a showstopper but a better tea selection would be great :-)

It is a little old and good for the people who likes the old buildings.

The room is a little cold for the winter sth around 22 C

Great location with traditional atmosphere. Prices vary depending on room availability, but if you are lucky it can be very good value.

breakfast time was too late as I had to go to the office and could not wait for breakfast at the hotel which was between 8 and 10.

Missing fridge. Tram and busses in front of the house. Room starts shaking. Windows should be closed.

That is an excellent place to stay for a short time. There were nice breakfast options. The location is great - so close to city centre and central train station

The place to put clothes is missing. I had only one hanger, which is truly not enough (especially, if you travel for work reasons).

The hotel has no extras such as a gym, but wasn’t expecting that either.

The atmosphere is truly captivating—staying at this hotel feels like stepping back in time to live in a luxurious palace from 200 years ago.

There was no fridge in the room, and the TV felt unstable on the table—definitely not ideal if you're traveling with small children.

Slightly weird construction - reception on second floor then down a floor in the next building to our room but that’s just quirky :)

The location is great, few hundred meters to the train and bus stations. The hotel is in an old building, the breakfast is in a home-style living room, very nice.

The room is too small, and it lacked chair.

This is such a precious little family run hotel. The decor is wonderful and there is a fantastic warmth to every nook and cranny in the building. The room was spacious and cosy and the location was perfect for us. Breakfast is simple but tasty and plenty of it. I also loved that the hotel was quiet, no parties or rowdy guests.

I wouldn't say we didn't like it, it was more of an inconvenience that some of the rooms are accessible through a staircase only and we had a fair bit of luggage to haul up and down. Old buildings can have such disadvantages. But this wouldn't take away from staying there again!

this old building has a very cosy atmosphere inside.Strange that the reception is at the second floor and not visible from the street level, but as soon as we got inside it was amazing.

Could have been better branded on the outside...., we almost turned back at arrival as it looked strange:)

It is an excellent quirky hotel with each room having a historical, tasteful character. Great location. Breakfast was great too! I would recommend it to anyone visiting this interesting city.

The room was beautifully decorated. The view was great. The lounge room very cosy. And the staff was very friendly and service minded. They seem to like their place of work.

The bed, cushions and covers were too soft and warm. The windows should have had a non-light emitting and noise reducing curtain. It was hard to sleep due to noise and bright light.
