Himley Country Hotel

I stayed an additional night at Himley Country Hotel and once again had a very positive experience. The consistency in service and comfort was appreciated.The room was clean, quiet, and well-maintained, providing a comfortable environment to rest. The overall atmosphere of the hotel is calm and practical, making it suitable for both short and extended stays.Reception was professional and welcoming. Asad and Sharon were courteous and efficient, ensuring a smooth process and maintaining a helpful attitude throughout.The location remains convenient, with easy access and parking available, which adds to the overall practicality of the stay.Overall, another very good experience, and I would return again without hesitation.

There was nothing significant to complain about; everything met my expectations for a short stay.

The family room is the best room so far

No cold water and the time before we had no hot water and the shower head needs replacing in the family room

I have worked in farm cleaner than here.Black mold room 219. Left after 1 hr as they was sanding walls at 7pm and there was thick dust in the air.Broken toilet seat. T.v not working.blood on cartpets in the hall way.

Hotel to be investigated by environmental health.

The place was an absolute dump.I was given a room which was the furthest away from reception and on entering it I was nearly sick.The place was disgraceful Considering the name of the location I expected 100% betterI was given another room after complaining This room wasn’t much better but at least a double bed, but the bed base was from two different beds and both were broken The mattress was that poor quality I could feel the frame of the bed base through it.Rubbish pillowsThin duvetThe room door wouldn’t lock from inside so I had to prop a chair against the door to feel safe plus put my case and shoes against doorThe hotel was an asylum centre, full of foreigners It shouldn’t even be on your selected hotel list.No bar, no functions available

I didn’t like anything about the propertyI’m sure there was drug dealing going down in the Car Park behind the building with only small lights inside the vehicles being on

The property looks lovely at reception. It was close to the venue that we needed to be at the next day.

Old and ratty. Peeling ceilings, tv and plug sockets did not work. One plug socket was hanging off of the wall. Room was cold on entering. Bathroom very outdated with broken tiles, no plug for sink and drain in floor. Only one pillow on each bed and beds dipped in middle due to old mattresses.

Avoid at all costs

Dirty room, cockroaches, rundown hotel. Extremely uncomfortable bed. Filthiest hotel ever had the displeasure of staying in. Staff not at all surprised we left after just one night. Didn't eat there to scared to.

the hotel was in a good location and staff were very friendly and helpful, nice quiet hotel and bed was very comfortable. Tv has all channels and tea and coffee facilities were provided. All the bad reviews on here make it seem alot worse then it is. I enjoyed my stay

There was no hot water ,however the staff addressed this on arrival. The bathroom was also abit dirty as there was hairs in the bath and flooring was very old. However not in horrendous state. The room was also not sound proof as stated and we could here people passing by in the corridors

The beds were very dirty and also there were not hot water and no heating in the room I asked too change room and it was.ever worse then the first room I ended up back in my old room and slept in my coat too keep warm never again

The hotel is is serious need of upgrade. Bed was uncomfortable and we had to ask for tea and coffee Cold water tap on the sink do not work

It could all have been much better

There was no brekfasts stupid.

Staff on reception during the day would be apprecisted. Could NOT have a shave as hot tap was totally siezed up. Could NOT have a shower or bath as bath had what looked like patch of conguiled blood dried on in bath. No phone in room in case of emergencies. Unable to use the TV . We give up now. Our money back would be much appreciated.

It’s stinks, absolutely filthy, rubbish tellys Bathroom had a massive stain in the bath Floors covered in god knows what! Everywhere is filth

Bathroom was dated @ toilet was loose & not fitted well, however the shower was hot & had a strong flow.

The facilities where untidy, mouldy, and dirty. The snake alarm was unplugged and falling off the ceiling. The bed was like sleeping on a rock and they only give 2 pillows for 2 people. Absolutely awful stay, do not recommend!

Large car park

Absolutely terrible £52 for the night i would have been better off in my car .Room extremely vold , famp , and bathroom dirty.... coffee and toilet roll in the bath .And the corridor outside the room stank of weed.
