Oak Farm Hotel

Very good staff Very friendly. Breakfast was great.

Great clean rooms. Initial journey to the area did not hold out much hope but this hotel is a gem amongst some dodgy truck stops. Good food and staff, wifi poor and it was supposed to be a new system.

Noise from extractor fan in bathroom very loud. Resorted to using bathroom without switching light on late evening to avoid disturbing guests in adjacent rooms.

The hotel has seen better days, tired and worn out, in an uncomfortable lumpy and tilted old bed, with a kettle that didn't work. Some of these staff conversations in the bar area were less than professional.

Breakfast time (Sunday morning) limited to 1 hour. 08:30 to 09:30 and check out by 10:30 am. In my experience most good hotels offer breakfast on a weekend until 10:30 am and checkout by 12: 00 as is common practice with Premier Inn for example which is probably why the Premier Inn was fully booked on the weekend we stayed here. not bad hotel but would be my 2nd choice to the Premier Inn.

Last minute stop off was made, and it was a very enjoyable evening, even more so by the amazing greeting and exceptional customer service given to us by KirstyHave to call out Kirsty,...... her service and can-do attitude were by far the best I have ever witnessed. If you decide to stay here, I would fully recommend kirsty's Irish coffee. It really was fantastic.....thank you kirsty for making our stay so pleasurable best wishes Carl and Sonia

Nothing... but a bigger bed would of gladly received

I could not fault anything about my experience at the Oak Farm Hotel. The staff were amazing (every single one of them) really made me feel welcome. The location was perfect, secure parking, comfy beds and bathroom with great water pressure.

shocking hotel

the staff are bad, go against all confidentiality rules.. the staff go against confidentiality I had the woman off the desk make a fake account and message my ex partner that I had made a reservation on booking.com messaged her saying loads of stuff and told her who I was with so they went against what there supposed to and when I confronted the person on the desk later that day over the phone he didn't know what to do or say is shocking really

Easy to find, helpful staff, excellent breakfast

The reception staff were really helpful and cheerful. I was very impressed by them and very grateful . The place was very clean . The choice of breakfast was excellent and very good value .

Unfortunately the bed was a bit too hard for me but I am disabled and I suspect that it would be fine for others.
