Peaceful

Nice and cosy for a family of three. Once we figured out the heating, it was lovely and warm. Really quick service when the shower broke and in just a couple of hours it was fixed.

It was a lovely lodge. We stayed in Cartmel. Spacious and clean. Very comfortable. In a beautiful area of Newby Bridge. We also had christmas tree in the lodge which was lovely.

Only things was , it was so cold in the lodge when we arrived. Would have been nice if it was pre heated as it was December. But it was ok. Also internet wasnt good. But wasnt a major issue.

I stayed for 4 nights with my family“It was very clean, and we felt very comfortable. It felt like being in our own home. Everything we needed for daily use was available. Anyone who wants to stay in that place only needs to bring their own food, that’s all. I recommend it.”

I didn't like that it was quite cold, the central heating didn't work very well so I felt the cold really bad, otherwise everything was absolutely excellent

Caravan was spotless, modern spacious rooms and comfy beds. Loved the information booklet with all the local information of walks and attractions to visit. Site was really peaceful, picturesque and a great base to explore the area.

The location worked really well for us as there was plenty to do and good places to visit. The site was lovely and well kept and whilst they have plenty of caravans, we didn't feel overlooked or sat on top of each other. The play park was adequate for my little one and the local shop was handy too.

There wasn't anything we didn't like on this site but our only niggle would be how close it is to a busy road which you do hear the traffic during the day. However, they have designed the park in such a way that you don't see the traffic on site and there's very little else they could do to improve the situation.

The place is clean and closely located to explore the south of Lake District

1. From the booking pics the caravan we looked to book was spacious with seperate bed room and a livin room but the one we were alloted was a crammed studio. With 2 kids on the sofa it was very uncomfortable plus we could hardly move in the place.2. We visited the place after day light savin time changed and it being dark at 5pm the roads without street light seems quite dangerous to drive to.

Loved the tranquil location and the super clean and well set up caravan.

The lounge needs a lamp as no low lighting available, so not quite as relaxing as it could be. A towel rail would also be helpful.

The caravan is great. It was neat and tidy, comfy and cozy. We arrived at the place and it was already heated and warm. Its near bowness! Location is great! Definitely will use in the future.

Great location for visiting the south Lakes and Windermere.

The mattress and pillows, they were ok but not great.

Wonderful holiday home, everything top notch, fully furnished with all the essentials you need, location is great to explore lake district.

Wi-fi is almost non-existant in the holiday home we stayed in i.e. cartmel but the mobile signals were good so that's one option you have until they improve it i.e. to use your mobile data

Everything was clean and tidy. Beautiful location! So close to everything and gorgeous views. The welcome pack and bits for our dogs was so lovely too.

The only complaint would be the mattress. Very hard and big springs, and possibly the addition of a dvd player and thermostat for the boiler would have been good. Otherwise, everything was spot on!

Beautiful surroundings lovely park and the lodge we stayed in was perfect for us....spacious....spotlessly clean ..our pup loved it and we all felt so comfortable and loved our few days stay. We will definitely be returning.very comfortable beds great each bedroom having its own bathroom..the garden was lovely very steep, but our pup loved it ....and the seating area and grounds we're lovely

Everything for us was perfect

Was very impressed with all the little extras, presentation pack, wine, general condition of the caravan, one of the best I’ve encountered.all-these extras were much appreciated

Unfortunately the weather was atrocious,unfortunately for me I have exceeding sensitive hearing ,with the caravan being situated in woodland the rain drops accumulated into heavy droplets from the leaves causing the noise to be extremely noisy when hitting the caravan .Obviously it cannot be helped ,was tolerable the first night but as the weather was gale force with no signs of stopping in the future had to terminate. This was not the fault of the staff or site,just one of those uncontrollable situations.
