Location
Stopped servicing food early, although there was Indian restaurant a pub serving food nearby.
Location was great.Staff were very friendly.
No instructions how to leave if early. No lighting above mirror so my husband couldn't shave. Toilet roll was hard.
Room was beautiful, location perfect
Lack of food options but believe this was a temporary issue. Otherwise really lovely
Central location. Did not have to walk through the bar to reach the accommodation rooms.
While the separate bathroom was less convenient than an en-suite, it was still for my sole use - so not really a problem.
Very clean, comfortable and friendly. Thank you
The location
We booked an om suut and had to leave pur room for the bathroom on the halway where there were 2 other bedrooms. Just not private and what we wanted.
Not a lot the lady on reception was really quite poor and was not the slightest bit interested. To busy on her phone
As above
Staff
Bit noisy until bar below closed at 2300
The friendly staff were so welcoming and attentive.the room was nice and big with lovely furniture.View from window was ace into the square of the village best spot in town.
The beer delivery at 6 in the morning on the Saturday. Luckily we was already leaving early around that time but if I wasn't it would have been annoying waking up to the loads of loads banging and clattering.
Very good location. Lovely welcome on arrival and attentive staff.
Nothing really.
Fab view of town square. Roll top bath, great biscuits
Helpful and accommodating staff, good food and a lovely room.
Super friendly staff, great location and all you need in the room.
The room was large with a large ensuit. Breakfast was nice with multiple choices.
Pub accomodation in the centre of town. Very comfortable beds. Friendly staff.Lovely old pub with rooms above - noise was not a problem at all.
We stayed here overnight on a C2C walk. If we had arrived soaking wet drying out our gear would have been problematic as thete was no drying area as such ( it wasn't a problem for us, but it might be for other fellow walkers who arrive after a day walking in rain).
Breakfast was good for what we paid, bedroom decor was nice
Felt the description of the room/bathroom could have been more clear in that the bathroom is across the landing from the room, stayed in lots of places with separate bathrooms that were separate as in not in same room as bed but not across landing.
Spacious room / comfortable bed / nice bath
Not a good selection of teas in the room, no tissues.
