Staff extremely helpful. Sorted our breakfast for us to takeaway as we had to be out early.

The Jack and Jill Coaching Inn offers an excellent location to explore some lovely coast. We managed to visit Whitby, Staithes and Runswick Bay, as hoped! The hotel was exceptionally clean and well maintained, The family room was perfect for both us and our 7 year old. It exceeded our expectations. It was like new. The room and hotel has lots of character whilst being also being modern and stylish. There is a good communal space to relax in- for a drink and cake or evening meal. We did both!If you are crazy golf fans like us, I would highly recommend trying out the one at the Jack and Jill Coaching Inn: it has18 holes, very well- maintained and some clever designs. This was a great bonus.

Everything was exceptional. The food was amazing! We had a Sunday Roast when we arrived which was delicious and a great portion. The individual gravy boats were a massive hit as we all love gravy. We had breakfast included in our stay and it's definitely a great breakfast. You can tell everything is made with top ingredients and a good variety on offer. The staff.. wow! The service at breakfast in particular was amazing. We were constantly asked if we wanted anything else, any additional drinks etc. All the staff were polite and just super friendly. The rooms were beautiful. Loved the decor and super clean. Our toddler decided his favourite thing to do was put his shoe in the bin in the bedroom. Although we kept taking it out we didn't realize he did it again and the bins were emptied. We explained to the staff before we left AND THEY CHECKED THE BINS FOR US! We have been reunited with his shoe. I am so thankful for them even offering to check the bins, luckily it was the first one they checked. If that doesn't say enough about the staff and the service I don't know what will. There was a lovely outdoor play area which our son loved. A little mini golf which he walked through but didn't play and it's opposite a reservoir to it's a beautiful location. If we are ever up that way again I will not hesitate to make a return visit.

Would have been nice to have more storage in the room as there were no drawers. Some hooks to hang up clothes but mainly everything was in the case.

Friendly & helpful staff, very clean in all areas & room very comfortable. Great breakfast with good choice. Also had Sunday lunch which was very good. Excellent value for money.

Room facing front on fairly busy road so took first night to get used to it but it was fine after that.

Decor and finish was exceptional, staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Would stay again.

No transition from day to night for guests, lighting too bright. Staff didn't appear to know the difference between vegan and gluten free. Very little choice for gluten free, yet normal main menu had dishes that were gluten free, just not offered on gluten free menu.

All staff excellent very warm and friendly. Breakfast was excellent.

Last orders for dinner was 5.45. A bit early!! Also need to have more variety of meals on the menu, was very basic.

The old coaching inn had been renovated and was beautiful. Service was top rate.

I had emailed that I was walking the Cleveland Way. The address given was misleading and I was on foot. It is miles and miles from Saltburn. The employee there said other people had also done the same thing...winding up miles from the Cleveland Way. I had to take 3 uncoordinated buses to get there, actually by bus, returning to the village I had walked from that morning and going beyond it. They had stopped serving meals. I was so late arriving. I think someone should have contacted me to let me know the Inn is not in the village of Saltburn. It cost me money for a taxi to the Cleveland Way next morning.

The staff could not do enough for us ideal accommodation and location for exploring the coast and moors. Food very good no complaints .Would recommend.

Nothing... it was very quiet but given last weekend in January hardly surprising.
