Pros +
- Lovely view from terrace
- A beautiful hotel, placed central to all Saltburn has on offer.
- We loved our little quirky outlook cottage time. Quite comfortable! However the wifi didn’t reach the bedroom and the heating was a bit inconsistent from room to room. Also the washer/dryer combo didn’t work very well.
Cons -
- Tiny windows in hotel room
- My sister also booked via booking.com and was offered breakfast and evening meal for less than what we paid for room only. This seems very unfair as we both used booking.com.
- We travelled with children and there was little on the menu for children

Good size, clean, friendly staff.
The lovely warm welcome from the staff, it is like coming home to visit family. The cleanliness and comfort of the rooms and the hotel in general. The food is delicious and everything is such good value for the money. The hotel is in the perfect location to access the town centre, beaches and cafes.
Lovely room, nice food at the hotel

Excellent location with very friendly staff. Food was fab. Couldn't fault anything.
The hotel was centrally located. It was cosy and well appointed.
Our room was on the second floor. There is no lift. We were taken to the bottom of the stairs and told your rooms up there. We asked about luggage assistance and we were well your room has a great view that is the price you pay...sorry. fortunately on check out Paul was passing and carried our case down. Which was kind. This should be a standard in a hotel with no lift. Also we were half board and the kitchen had a maintenance issue and half the dishes were not available. These things happen but there was no apology infact staff were rude and dismissive in their explanations. And had the cheek to bring us a bill for 11 pounds as we had exceeded the half board allowance. Mum has an allergy and could only have that dish, which was mediocre.
Room very comfortable and clean.Evening menu very limited with very few vegetables served. Breakfast quite chaotic and meals arrived at different times or were late.Staff very pleasant and helpful, especially Steve, the duty manager.
Location good, car parking good, food very good, staff excellent, very hard working and multi tasking. A very enjoyable 3 night stay, will return
Lovely hotel in a great position. Rooms very clean and have everything you need. Good food (enormous portions). Would have given this hotel full marks but the bar/terrace facilities is open to the public so makes it very busy at times. Couldn't get a seat in the bar until later in the night. We were there on Mothers day and couldn't sit and have a coffee in the bar area in the morning because all tables were set up ready for Mothers day bookings. The hotel isn't a cheap one to stay in and I feel the facilities aren't always available to the people paying to stay there. Terrace area often reserved for private parties.
Size and cleanliness of the room
Significantly overpriced, by at least £60, especially as breakfast was not included. The bed was far too low and not a good quality mattress. The handbasin was way too small with an overlarge tap making it impossible to wash your face in it.
Great location, friendly helpful staff, good food and drinks selection, nice room.
Fantastic staff, fantastic space and brilliant price!
Only bit of feedback was the heating, that little boiler is just too small to warm whole place!
Excellent staff, as usual, excellent location, dog friendly room had an external door to the rear car park which was super handy. The food was really nice and they have a great selection of drinks at the bar.
The toilet in the bathroom feels a little crammed in.

Very welcoming and friendly staff. Room was spacious with a very comfortable bed. Food was very enjoyable. Excellent views from the outdoor seating area.
Beautiful view and excellent choices on breakfast menu. Kippers and eggs Benedict were excellent.
Dinner, breakfast, and a very comfortable room
Bathroom was a little fiddly, toilet flush malfunctioned overnight but I managed to fix it myself ? and the over bath shower head fell off during use, hitting my eleven year old. Devil is in the details…
