Reception was pleasant and helpful.

Room had an odd but faint ‘wet dog’ smell. Wifi wasn’t secure, required email sign up for access - therefore free wifi is irrelevant. Not able to use for work.

It's a motel at a motorway service station - comfortable room & pleasant staff

Lack of available sockets for charging phone ets. Our adapter coudn't fit in the sockets above the desk. A fridge in the room.

Very convenient from toll road. Having the food court attached was fab. Surprisingly quiet in the room considering the amount of traffic in the area. Lovely dog walk area is available. Very good value.

Hotel is a little dated. Bathroom fittings need a refurb but perfectly usable.

The bathroom was somewhat small, but clean, and the water was nice and warm

The electrical power socket at the desk location is very inconvenient. I ended up buying a power strip to connect it to the wall power socket where the kettle was, which allowed me to plug in my phone charger and laptop power cable. This setup may work for some plugs, but it is not Apple-friendly.

Thin walls mean you can hear conversations from surrounding rooms.

The room I booked was meant to be a family room so 1 double bed and a sofa bed, instead it was a double bed and a single bed and a mattress on the floor, the room smelt damp and also of cigarette smoke. The bedding and towels didn't have a nice smell to them either

Nice setting with plenty of grass areas to walk around. Even a small Air Ambulance monument. Also there is plenty of choice in regards to eating in the food courts nearby.

Nothing serious and nothing that would put me off staying again. Some fittings and panels in the bathroom need updating. Shower and bath switching wasnt working. So bath and shower were both running at the same time.

Good size room with comfy bed, coffee and tea facilities. Shower fit for purpose and a hair dryer. Quiet area, free view tv available and free WIFI.

Felt a little like staying in Colditz behind Electric gates. Room had strange musty odour so we had to keep window open. The sofa bed in the room was rather stained so I did not want to sit on it but there was only one other chair in the room so one of us had to sit on the bed. Web site says 15 minute walk from local pub, this was a Toby carvery who on a Friday evening was shut for 9.30pm and when went for Carvery on the Saturday at 8pm made us feel that uncomfortable and that the staff just wanted to chat, so not a pleasant experience. We were visiting family and thought the days would be ideal as a base but would not return unless desperate.

Cracked sink,Chips and black marks in the bathBed was uncomfortable felt like mattress needs replacing.

Clean, warm and super quiet. Lots of hot water.

Only negative was the bathroom was dated.

Large room as given the disabled room as no others available.

Booking hadn't been transferred to Hotel and wanted me to pay again, eventually input manual, but told they need to take a 1p charge to my card. Please refund this. Very noisy quests from early in the morning and trolley banging about.

We would like two chairs in the room. Can never understand why there is only one !Stayed many times and the water taps always seem to be problematic no matter which room

On the toll so easy to get back on the road. Dog friendly and lovely staff. Stayed a few times and always good
