Pros +
- Location and atmosphere
- We had a lovely stay at Rose Revived. The staff were lovely, the room was clean, comfortable, and spacious. The bar and restaurant had a nice atmosphere and the food was brilliant.
- The manager Phil was brilliant. Food was delicious, bar staff friendly. Ample parking. Right on the river Thames
Cons -
- State of decoration of room
- We had no issues but you need to carry your suitcase upstairs
- The outdoor Riverside area was somewhat on cap. Quite a bit of letter all about. I don’t think it had been cleaned up for some time. Napkins and other debris that wouldn’t have taken much time to pick up.

Very nice rooms. Riverside.

The breakfast was fine. We were walking the Thames Path so there wasn't a lot of choice! The decor was lovely.
The location is stunning & perfect for exploring Oxford if you wantedThe evening meal and breakfast were fantastic, and the staff could not do any more for us
My only complaint is they do not allow dogs to stay over night in the rooms, but the pub itself is very dog friendly, If they did, we would be staying all of the time.
Beautiful riverside location
Location of room above garden dining area meant it was very noisy into the evening
Fabulous stay in a beautiful place. Huge outdoor area. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Food was amazing - evening meal and breakfast experienced by 6 of us. Will definitely stay here again .
Nothing - everything was fantastic
Very friendly staff and beautiful location.
Not much space in room and small shower.
Beautiful situation on the Thames and a very comfortable room. The staff made us feel so welcome, couldn’t fault them at all. We ate in the hotel twice and the menu choices were excellent and the food was really good.
Location on the Thames path. Nice terrace.
Very busy. Room small. Meal (dinner) mediocre (could not cut the overcooked burger with my knife). Breakfast space not cleaned in the morning!
Beautiful view from room, overlooking the Thames. Staff were helpful and lovely. Room was very comfortable and very well appointed. Food was very nice. Shame we couldn’t stay longer.
Our bedroom was really comfortable. Breakfast was great and the staff could not have been friendlier.
We had the Sunday roast at about6PM and the roast potatoes had unfortunately seen better days, but the rib of beef was delicious.
Beautiful place to stay, very scenic and cosy. Staff were lovely and our room was very clean, the whole pub was pristine too. We ate there a couple of times and cannot fault the food, it was delicious. Witney the town itself was about a 22 min drive away, beautiful town, ideal for shops and more pubs/restaurants.We were able to locate other places easily from there, paid a visit to the wildlife centre one day, bourton on the water another so it's quite central, didn't take us long to get from a to b.Another big thing is in the car park it does have fast ev charging, which is extremely handy for those that may need it.We stayed for 4 nights, room was cleaned everyday, came in at the end of the day to fresh mugs and saucers, more coffee, tea and milk pouches. Cleaner was also very friendly always said hello as we passed him by in the hallwayOverall a lovely lovely stay, would recommend
It was comfortable, beautifully decorated and in a stunning location by the Thames and bridge. The Manager and staff were friendly, professional and attentive.
Lovely room with a huge comfy bed. Great breakfast & evening meal.Lovely friendly & helpful staff.
Lovely staff who went the extra mile ? Good bed and everything you need.No noisy cars to wake you up.
Only thing i thought would be drinking in room.
Lovely setting, very friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfast. Room was excellent
Beautiful location, wonderful staff - no, scratch that, "exceptional" staff. Always delivered consistently high service with a smile each time. Breakfast was a true waistline buster, with massive choice, culinary perfection and quantity spot on. Am desperately trying to think of any negatives, but cannot. The only issue was with the noise from traffic from around 6.30am (Friday morning), but this wasn't the case the following morning (Saturday). Basically, if staying over the weekend this won't be a problem, and if staying midweek, simply request a room at the rear. Were the Rose Revived a garden shed, we'd still have thoroughly enjoyed our stay, since guests' happiness is what drives this amazing team. We wish them every success for the future. Would highly recommend and wouldn't hesitate to return there if in the area again.
Excellent location on the river. Room 7 had a wonderful view and a comfortable bed. Very good breakfast service with a reasonable choice. There was a reasonable choice on the evening meal menu and the service was excellent.
Room lighting was very poor which made it impossible to read.Evening meals were inconsistent and the quality of the meat in the steak & ale pie was very poor.Breakfast milk & dairy produce should be kept chilled.Bedrooms would be much better if they had a small fridge for drinks & medicines.
