Really nice accommodation, great staff and beautiful pub. Plus a great restaurant.

The accommodation was away from the pub around a grass area perfect for a stay with my dog. The room was beautifully decorated, spacious and well designed. Although we didn’t eat dinner in the pub the menu looked great and it had an inviting atmosphere.The breakfast was delicious and had a good selection of cooked or continental options.Most notable was how friendly and welcoming the staff were. We had a great stay.

No hot water from shower. Moved rooms on day 2 and still didn't have any hot water in shower.

The food was absolutely amazing, slightly on the expensive side, but it was a special trip for my partner and I, so I wasn't overly concerned about that.All of the bar staff and the restaurant staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming.I would definitely recommend it to friends and my partner and I will be returning (hopefully).

Unfortunately for us, a family were staying in the room next door who had 2 very noisy kids + the parents decided to give them a bath at 6:30 am on a Sunday! The parti walls must be thin

Nothing really, it’s beautiful. The only thing and that’s scraping the barrel is that I didn’t like the soap provided but that’s personal preference and I didn’t think the art in the room matched the decor of the place

It was quite far from town and no electric charging station on site

The room was a great size for us and our medium sized Labrador to have her bed placed without us tripping over it, and loads of hot water for the bath. Breakfast options included in the price where varied and plentiful. The Dinner menu was provided a good selection of dishes and the pie (venison, smoked bacon in a red wine sauce) served with chunky chips Kale, broccoli and green beans was real comfort food
