    Cons -

    • Breakfast quality varies.
    • disappointed no TV in the room, parking was a little tricky, we used the car park recommended which flooded overnight.
    • Staff were unhelpful, slow and customer service was not their priorityRooms not cleaned properly mid-stay, dirty cups, tea/coffee facilities not topped up Breakfast not included and pricey for what you get No television in rooms - not catering for all. No one informed of the New Year’s Eve party they were having which was complimentary for guests unbeknown to us. Overall a disappointing stay.. and not what you expect for a hotel that’s on the Michelin guide UK

Location amazing although parking isnt easy! Beautiful hotel and amazing staff. NYE party was fabulous would highly recommend. Breakfast is great.

We didnt realise that VAT would be added to every part of the bill so it was more expensive than we realised from booking. But it was a great stay so we did not mind!

Cosy, clean, rustic - a lot of charm and character

Layout, design and decor. Food quality and service were brilliant

Parking is the only slight negative but that’s the Cotswolds, car park is less than 5 min stroll away.

Lovely hotel, friendly staff (organised a taxi for us as we were going to The Farmers Dog) nice town, room was fabulous

Breakfast was ok but small menu and portions

We spent 2 nights at The Bull in Burford and absolutely loved it. The location is perfect — right in the heart of Burford, known as the gateway to the Cotswolds — making it an ideal base for exploring the surrounding villages and countryside. The inn is dog-friendly, which was a huge bonus for us, and it provided a warm, cosy place to retreat to after long days out walking and sightseeing. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, and full of character — everything you’d want from a classic Cotswolds stay.Highly recommended for anyone looking for charm, comfort, and convenience in a beautiful part of England.

The hotel was totally funky. Full of an eclectic mix of modern art and antique furniture. Our room was spacious but up a couple of stairways where we had to drag our luggage, but well appointed. No tv, and what’s with hotel taps in the UK. Every one is different.

Parking was difficult up a side street where we had to drag our suitcases over several cobblestones laneways to get there. Although it was on a weekend and very crowded. Avoid the weekends.

Very central and superb cuisine, breakfast it was very good. The internal decor are quite unique we appreciate it . Thanks to all the staff for their service

We think they could improve cleaning and the atmosphere in the restaurant.

    Very good

Staff were great, however service was slow across breakfast, dinner & bar. Waited 45 minutes for coffees for breakfast & an hour for a glass of wine in the pizza restaurant.

The beautiful interior and layout were beautifully designed and the little touches of art made it interesting and inviting. The room was cosy and comfortable and had great amenities. I especially loved the heated floor in the bathroom of a morning. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, making it a very special stay for my birthday. I also experienced the Wild restaurant and was blown away with the incredible food and service from both Ben and Leanne. I haven’t stopped talking about it since, just incredible!

We couldn’t fault it and will definitely be back.

    Fabulous room, food, amazing building

No offer of help with our luggage, either at check-in or check-out.

Came for my girlfriends birthday. Lovely artwork, comfortable rooms with amazing decor, great restaurant options in an amazing location. Staff went out of their way to leave a lovely birthday card which was a nice touch. Would definitely come again!

recently stayed at The Bull and overall, it was a lovely experience. The staff were amazing—friendly, helpful, and really made us feel welcome. The rooms are charming and comfortable, and the food was absolutely fantastic, especially the pizza! The only thing that let the experience down slightly were a few minor maintenance issues…some paint chips on the walls and a broken toilet seat in my room. Considering the amount I paid for the stay, I expected those details to be in better condition.Aside from that, everything else was great, and I would definitely consider staying again for the great atmosphere and excellent service.

The wall need new paint broken toilet seat in the room

    CentralLocation. Cool.

Smoking in the courtyard at breakfast. Really !!

    Room 1 was exceptional and...

Overall excellent, breakfast was a little disorganised. Attention to detail ia important in all services and no one person was in control of breakfast or there to welcome.

Right in the centre of the lovely town of Burford. The hotel is a very old building which has been renovated in a modern and tasteful style. Dinner in the restaurant was very good as was the breakfast.

There is no parking. Free parking is available about a 10 minute walk away. We dropped our bags off with reception before parking.

Receptionist welcoming and friendly. Food was good. Bed was comfortable.

Being a big guy I felt very restricted sitting at a small table in the main restaurant. Beer selection was limited and not to my taste but that’s just personal preference as food was very good.Air-con was ok but weak flow. Bed needs better pillows that are more supportive.

Beautifully renovated and decorated. Quirky. In town centre. Parking nearby. Fabulous food at restaurant Wild. Great cocktails. Great coffee in the room and fabulous art. Very friendly attentive staff - especially the bartender. Very spacious bathroom.

No lift may be an issue for some. Might be good to offer breakfast on the terrace in the summer - breakfast area is a little dark. No safe in the room.
