    Pros +

    • everything wAs fine no complaionts' the bed was fine and so was the breaklfast it was a;lso convenient to where i lived.the staff are very helpful and polite,im a gymn member here also and my stay exceeded my expectations'
    • Waited 2 hours for room service. The system they use is totally flawed. They make you use your mobile and some messaging system. No phones in the room. The messaging system is terrible. Was no towels in my room. Waited an hour trying to use the messaging system. Breakfast was awful. Carnage. Was nothing left. I didn’t have breakfast there in the end. But I paid for it. Room is ok, little dated. Bed is comfortable! Woke up at 2am to a vent making a horrendous noise. Took an hour and some makeshift tissue ear buds to fall back asleep. Staff were friendly. Especially the grill staff. Overall really disappointing stay.
    • Someone called Rox/Rux (sorry for the potential mispell) was so helpful at the front desk and lent me a pair of scissors!

    Cons -

    • there was nothing to dislike about my stay atg ashton moss village everything was perfect'the food is good so there was nothing i disliked about my stay here.there is nothiong i want to complsin about
    • Put phones in the rooms. Serve people their breakfast, take their order. Breakfast is such a big thing. We paid for it, it’s an extra. I hate crappy buffet style breakfast. There was empty trays.
    • The breakfast was quite basic. Vegetarian sausages would have been really appreciated.

Near tram stop into Manchester but takes least 30 mins

Undergoing major renovation works with large machinery and disruption at front struggled to find entrance , we were not informed prior to arrival . Was woken up by loud banging on a bedroom door which went on for over an hr , no phones in room to contact reception to complain . Struggled to park car , Big impersonal hotel .

    9KarenPosted on: 10-8-2025

The breakfast was amazing ! Lots of choice & very tasty

I had a late check out 1pm club room ! The cleaners came knocking & woke me up despite the do not disturb sign hanging on the door … have been ill & needed sleep. This happened on my previous stay too

Very nice staff. Always friendly, polite and went out of their way for customersVery clean, fresh and inviting ground floorSlept well and would come again

Out of date yogurts served at breakfast.Rooms need a freshen up - doors need a coat of paint, stained blind, extractor fan not working, strange smells in corridorsOdd lighting arrangement - choice of main light too bright or dim bed lights. No inbetween and couldnt turn main light off and leave corner lamp on (one wanted to sleep and one wanted to watch tv - either too bright or too dark)Lift needs a new carpetGround floor was fresh, clean and inviting but sadly the bedroom 324 let it down a bit

Quickly moved my room (originally 107 I think) as two air conditioning units outside the window were noisy.

    9IvanaPosted on: 7-25-2025

It was super clean, easy to check in and out. It has some restaurants walking distance, a bar and a Starbucks near the lobby. 20/25 minute ride on a bus from Manchester centre and about a 10 min walk to the bus stop. The hotel overall was nice! We had a good stay.

We were only for two nights but they didn’t clean our room

Great location to retail park and easy access to the M60. Friendly staff who are more than happy to help.

Car parking should be free to residents.Wi-Fi doesn’t always connect. Depends where you are in the hotel. Also the village app doesn’t work at times and you have to go to reception for any issues.

    The bar

The beds are so short my feet were out the end and I’m only 6’2”

Dirthy and not a reel 4 stars hotel.

I'm writing to express my disappointment with my recent stay at your hotel. Unfortunately, the room was not clean to my standards. The sheets weren't changed daily as expected, and the carpet was stained and had holes. Additionally, the staff's attitude was unfriendly. Not a reel 4 stars hotel.

    1NickPosted on: 4-28-2025

    Nothing!

The property is in need of a full renovation, the beds are uncomfortable and the pillows are like bricks! There is only roll blinds at the windows that do not keep the light out! There are no USB sockets! There is an iron board left out in your room. The hall ways and general areas are in need of an update and the staff are unfriendly and rude to guests.

    8VictoriaPosted on: 4-28-2025

Great location for getting into Manchester easily on the tram. Close to other restaurants and entertainment if you don’t want to use the facilities at the hotel.

Be aware you can hear road noise during night in front facing rooms.

    8GillianPosted on: 4-28-2025

The room was very clean, bed comfortable, good pillows. Air con/heating good. Breakfast good.

Towels a bit on the small side, and not fluffy. Some lights bulbs not working and shower head needed replacing as water hardly coming out. Reported to reception.Power saving feature of door key powering electric, wanted to leave phone on charge whilst I went to breakfast, but couldn't

    5DavisonPosted on: 4-27-2025

    Staff were friendly

Breakfast was very cold ,Bedroom windows very drafty .A lot of road noise Wouldn't stay there again.

    7GyulaPosted on: 4-27-2025

    Good location

Compared to other village hotels, especially Village hotel at Basingstoke the Manchester Village hotel is quite outdated compared to the others but still provide a good peaceful stay

    7CatherinePosted on: 4-25-2025

Facilities such as bar restaurant and gym all as you’d expect for a Village hotel, clean room and easy to check in

This hotel is crazy busy! Lots of people local not staying at the hotel coming to use the gym, car park was a nightmare

    5SarahPosted on: 4-25-2025

Used to be nice but needs to change

I didn't like the pillows. It was like sleeping on a brick. There was also onlyone bath towel when booking was for two people but didn't realise until it came to having a shower. The motorway traffic kept me awake most of the night

    3ChandniPosted on: 4-23-2025

Good location and the shower gel was lovely.

Awful food And overpriced I sent my main meal back and asked for the manager to contact me to compensate and they never got in touch. I rang the reception a number of times during my stay as there was no in room phone and I wanted to contact them regarding a missing item I ordered via room service and no answer. Eventually I just resorted to re-ordering and paying. Absolute waste of money on crap dry and tasteless food

    6NsefPosted on: 4-23-2025

The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast facilities were very good.

The pillows on the bed were a bit lumpy, the house cleaning staff only changed towel and rearranged the pillows on the bed.The general decor and atmosphere of the place was claustrophobic and dark.
