Great restaurant for dinner and breakfast was excellent.Room was a good size and suit d us for a quick 1 night stay after flying in from Europe and collecting a hire car.

Great value for money.The room was spacious and beautifully designed.Very well equipped - plenty of sockets, coffee facilities, kettle, hairdryer, and everything you might need.Lots of windows that can be opened, which really appreciated.Good blackout curtains ensured a comfortable night's sleep.The hotel was quiet and peaceful.Fantastic location - Old Trafford is just a few minutes' walk away, the BBC headquarters is also within walking distance, and there are excellent tram connections to both the airport and the city centre.There is an excellent restaurant in the hotel as well.Overall, it was a great experience

We had an efficiency room which was in the main building & was perfectly adaquate. Lovely old building with loads of character. Comfy bed, bathroom with rainfall shower & endless hot water. Liked the fact the TV had streaming service. Hotel parking £5. Within easy reach of Salford Quays.

The pillows need replacing - old, flat & lumpy.

Restaurant, food and room were great. Free upgrade!

We loved the upgrade to the Trafford Suite. Bed was so comfortable. And breakfast was good!

There was nothing not to like. The hotel was beautiful throughout. Loved the grand stair case.

Friendly welcome, great facilities for the cost and a great breakfast

The location of the hotel was great, right next to tram stop. The room was lovely and clean, great facilities, nice little sitting area. Staff were very friendly and attentive.

The bathroom in the room was clean, lovely toiletries included, however the way the shower was attached to the wall was useless. I was not tall enough to leave it attached and had to hold it over me the whole time I used it. Not very convenient. The breakfast, whilst the choices were good, all the food was almost cold, and it was all very greasy. Not nice. There was fruit available which was not fresh - I took an apple which I had to throw away. We do not like food waste, but found we could not eat a lot of the cooked breakfast.

The staff were lovely, went above and beyond to make sure I was settled in and that everything was okay. My room was good and the restaurant was lovely too.

Lovely comfortable stay, perfect location for visiting family. We found it to be peaceful and relatively quiet. All staff were friendly and accommodating. Food was great, we had an evening meal and breakfast. Parking on site os a bonus, although you have yo pay.We will definitely return to this hotel when back in Manchester.

Most of the food was hot. Coffee was very good and staff were very helpful. The variety of food was good. Room was excellent as was the location. Parking was very accessible too.

The beans and eggs were cold, maybe just timing. The toilets weren't very clean in the restaurant area.

Easy to find, easy to park (£5 - pay at reception), friendly staff, I was upgraded on arrival and had a lovely spacious room. Clean bathroom. Kettle facilities. Only downside was noise from room above until late in the night so take ear plugs. A great budget option overall.

Rooms were great. Well sized. Beds and pillows were very comfortable.

Rooms and dining area could be cleaner. Communal areas were quite dated.

I had originally booked a single room but this was upgraded for free to a double when I checked in The room was spacious, clean, warm, comfortable and well appointed with tea and coffee making facilities and a decent sized desk for work. Multiple lamps of various wattage made it possible to get the right level of light; I have been in hotels where it has been white supergiant or black hole with nothing in-between. The bathroom was excellent. Breakfast was included in the price (exceptional value and sadly rare these days); the menu was extensive and the food well cooked and presented. The public areas in the hotel are ornate and add to the feel of the place.Saving the best to last... Every single member of staff I had the pleasure to meet was courteous, efficient and welcoming. They are a credit to the hotel!
