Cottons Hotel and Spa

The staff throughout the entire hotel are absolutely fabulous. Go out of their way to assist & accommodate the best experience for you. The hotel is immaculately clean. Beds are super comfy & the shower is amazing.

Only little niggle was car park could perhaps be bigger for the number of rooms in this vast hotel But it didnt spoil our experience we loved it & cant wait to return

Staff were great. Friendly and helpful. Great location near the motorway and airport but also in a rural setting. Plenty of parking and the breakfast is decent. Restaurant has a nice vibe and serves good food. Nice bathroom with a bath with tv and a separate shower. Very clean and comfortable bed, robes and towels.

Overpriced for what is classed as a junior suite. Basically premiere inn size with a bigger bathroom. Had to ask for extra slippers as only one pair for the room. No smart tv and the signal was weak. A small fridge but no decent glasses. Paid for spa access but it was so busy that we literally walked in and out as there was nowhere to sit. Didn’t bother to try and get the £30 refunded which I feel should be included at the price charged for the room. Sure it would score slightly better on a less busy weekend but not likely to return. Shame as the food and staff were great.

Very friendly staff, welcoming atmosphere Our room was upgraded for free. Came with loads of space, a gusto coffee machine. Bath robes and slippers, ironing board and iron, mini fridge, hair dryer, extra towels, the bed was huge and very comfortable. There was also 'The White Company' bathing products supplied which was a nice touch.

We attended a wedding and the only thing that we found an issue was the long wait with food service. But it wasn't a big issue

They layout is beautiful, perfect spot for a weekend break

Loved the stay was very surprised as the hotel is a lot nicer than the pictures, the staff were all super attentive and friendly, breakfast was beautiful, very clean.. got the room we requested very cosy feel

Room smelt of cannabis , think they were smoking next door. shower very dated and not hot

The staff, however clean it was, the spa staff was brilliant, breakfast was amazing

I didn’t like the fact that they need more lay down beds in the spa there’s just simply not enough

Convenient for work, cheaper on booking.com than our corporate rate which is disappointing.

Bar menu is limited, hotel is looking quite tired. Needs a refresh.

Got to the room and it was like going into a fridge, heating hadn't been on and as we were literally checking in, changing to go out, so not pleasant, maintenance man put a couple of heaters in, he managed to get heating working, when we got back room still cold, it could have been worse had he not put these in, obviously problem with heating system.

The entire experience. Extremely welcoming from the moment you drive through the barriers. Friendly staff at reception upon arrival, and all staff I had seen smiled, spoke and were extremely polite. Incredible staff, amazing hotel and such a beautiful night's stay.

Not that I didnt like something, but the sugars in the tea tin, were extremely low. But this isnt a complaint, your hotel is beautiful and I rate my stay a 10/10*

Relaxed atmosphere and beautiful surroundings.The food was lovely and spa facilities were brilliant.

It was crowded in Spa nowhere to relax at first.

Parking, size of hotel, the long serving lady in the bar is always great (do not know her name).

The breakfast historically has been served cold as well as consistently cold coffee so avoid this service as do not wish to complain and make a fuss. Not after a 'free' breakfast either which appear to be so.

The room was okay, pleasant.

The food was not what we expected. The pubic hair in the bathroom was not a welcome sight.

I cannot speak highly enough of how nice this hotel is, and especially the staff. Literally every member of staff we dealt with couldn't have been more friendly, attentive and helpful. A special mention for Paul on reception, who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, and for whom nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely be visiting this hotel again.
