Pros +
- The location is great. Just 5 minutes walk from town and next to The Barn Theatre. The food in the restaurant Teatro is delicious . Saturday night entertainment in the Piano Bar was great.
- The breakfast was good and the service was great.
- Lovely room, beautiful decor, very comfortable bed and high quality bedlinen. Breakfast very nice.
Cons -
- We had some.issues with our breakfasts but the staff dealt with it to a satisfactory outcome.Rooms are quite expensive especially for single occupancy.
- The rooms are feeling slightly worn. The towel hooks in our bathroom were falling off of the wall and you could see the unfinished drywall around the sink in the bathroom. The glass door to the bathroom was a poor design choice as it lights up the entire room every time someone goes to the bathroom at night. Not sure how this place is during the summer because it was already pretty warm during our stay in April.
- All good.

Lovely room, beautiful decor, very comfortable bed and high quality bedlinen. Breakfast very nice.
All good.
Quiet rooms (triple glazed) despite the proximity to the road. Big comfortable bed. Gluten free options at breakfast very good.
Room was quite hot, and couldn't figure out how to use the thermostat
Breakfast excellent. Location fine
Did not particularly like the glass screen door to bathroom.Would prefer tea/coffee arrangement to have kettle rather than pod machine
Breakfast was excellent. The location is great for walking to Cirencester or visiting other Cotswold towns to the north. The staff were friendly and lovely too. Room was very comfortable with good facilities including a Dyson fan which was essential at night when it was quite warm, even in April.
We had dinner and were slightly disappointed on a couple of items. We ordered baked camembert, but were advised to order more bread at an extra charge, which was fine as the portions of bread with the meal were inadequate for the amount of cheese. The cheese was delicious. But you should not have to pay for more bread in our view to enjoy a meal from the menu to its fullest. The other item was a lovely lamb dish which presentation wise was unappealing, although very tasty. Again the small portion of flatbread provided was inadequate for the amount of meat.
The style of the room was lovely and the staff were very friendly.
Unfortunately our room was very noisy. I think our room was located directly above Tietro which may have accounted for the noise but we heard music playing all day and on Saturday evening. We could also hear quite a lot from the people staying in the other room. The staff were lovely but I don’t think there were enough staff working - breakfast for instance there was only one member of staff working at a time. Although, they clearly work hard I think for better service you need more than one person to taking orders and serving food.
Very comfortable and spotless clean ,nice bar ,breakfast was bit confusing but lovely
A beautifully decorated hotel. We liked the bar and enjoyed the breakfast.
Needs attention to detail with cleanliness too.
Comfy large bed and good size ensuite.Well placed for town centre.
Would prefer kettle for making tea instead of coffee machine.
Great location - less than 10 minutes walk away from the centre of Cirencester. Easy parking in public car park opposite hotel (and cheap). Fab decor in hotel. Very comfortable room. Staff were very friendly. Excellent breakfast with good quality ingredients. Cirencester is a lovely market town - plenty of cafes/restaurants. Tapas restaurant La Bobina was very enjoyable. For those who like a stroll visit the Bathurst Estate (£4 entrance fee) walkable from centre of town.
Quirky hotel a short walk from Cirencester city centre. I had booked a Signature Super King room for my sister's birthday for a double birthday celebration. We were allocated Needham room. While the room itself was very nice (and shower was nice with good water pressure), there were issues. We were truly disappointed that the windows were frosted over so you couldn't see outside and very little light came through. It felt a bit like a basement room because of that. Secondly the Chromecast on the TV did not work (and yes we were connected to the wifi etc). I see other reviews have mentioned this issue in that room. Secondly the noise was bad. We could hear every word from the room opposite (including them knocking on their door which sounded like our door at 4:30am), and the live music downstairs did keep us up. The breakfast was very nice. There was a problem with payment at check out. The receptionist tried my card twice and said it wasn't going through as if the problem was on my end when I knew it wasn't. My sister offered her card which was very embarrassing as the hotel stay was supposed to be her birthday present. Hers didn't go through either, so obviously a problem on the hotel's end. Eventually was sent a payment link that worked. On top of this, I was told in more than 1 email before arrival that the parking in the car park opposite would be free all day on Sunday. I realise the car park is not part of the hotel, but this information is misleading as it was in fact a lie and it's a good thing we happened to check what it said at the car park or else we would have been charged - I did go back to reception to mention this and was told this would be passed on to management.

Excellent! - Unusual menu choices and exotic decor.
Room makeup for second day - we had to ask for coffee supplies
Perfect location next door to a lovely theatre. Staff were so friendly and helpful. I loved that each room was named after a staff member.
Easy to find location but about 10 minutes walk into town. Large Council car park directly opposite with low charges. The whole hotel was spotless and beautifully decorated. Warmly welcomed by Millie on the front desk. Archie in the restaurant couldn’t have been more helpful.
Nothing I didn’t like.
Rooms had everything you need for a decent couple of nights away. Comfy beds, clean and well maintained throughout. Enjoyed the breakfast.
Staff, room, bar, music all great
Food served in restaurant a little cold
Easy location. Adequate for overnight
Noisy as near some busy roads. No private car park. Big public car park opposite but no security
A comfortable King room with all the necessary ammeneties for 1 night and a great breakfast in fantastic surroundings. Very quiet room and hotel. Easy 10 min walk into the town centre. Parking opposite hotel entrance.
The room was small with a sliding door into the ensuite bathroom so it felt like the bathroom was in the room. Fine for 1 night but too small for more that 1 night.
Unique hotel in a fantastic central location. Room was very comfortable and very well equipped. Parking was just across the road which made it easy to access (needed to pay for parking). Restaurant was equally quirky with lovely menu choices.
Nothing we didn't like.
