Beautiful location. Nice hotel, even wth very many guests the place remained calm and clean and well-run.
Lovely location, food good, room very nice - paid extra for a lake view and it had a balcony which was lovely. Staff very nice, but 4pm on the first day opening up after the christmas break had to queue for quite a while to check in - a couple of extra staff would have helped this.
An extra couple of staff for the anticipated check in rush would have helped.
The rooms were nice and clean and comfortable. I have stayed here prior and it is a lovely hotel. All around comfortable and worth the money.
Parking.
Great place, amazing room and view. Very good breakfast. Staff was very accommodating.
Place is beautiful View from room of the lake was fab Staff amazing
Nothing not to like
Location and good value with gym and spa. Comfortable beds and good pillows.
Rooms aren’t hugely quiet as walls aren’t super well insulated but in general it’s a great place to stay
Very welcoming at reception, breakfast good plenty of variety
Room comfortable but black mould in the bathroom, the walls are paper thin so you can hear everything your neighbors are up too. Use of the swimming pool was an extra charge £10 per person which was not mentioned when I booked., so all in all a hotel stay that rated as the worse I've ever had. Would never go again ,
The view on the lake was amazing and the birthday goodies but the breakfast was great too
I didn’t realize that you could only use the spa if you book a treatment as that wasn’t mentioned in the description. I booked this hotel so I could gift my husband for his bday but not having access to the spa was the biggest drawback, I saw in different hotels description it said spa additional charge or something similar so I didn’t book them but if I had known I would have thought about booking this.
Staff at reception were very good very helpful. Room was clean and a good size, comfortable bed which is alway good.
for the size of the hotel, there wasn't enough room to just chilland relax. whilst there is a bar area, where. busy was noisy, and it would have e been. ice to have an areas to chill. read a book, bugs simply relax. Night time the entrance to the hotel from the road need to be lit up, as the road had no lighting so the entrance can come upon you quickly. Food me is choicesaverage, The Boathouse menu many not suit everyone, but you can pop into cirencester which is a short trip should you wish to eat out
Great location and facilities. Lovely and clean. Pleasant courteous staff, Breakfast choice was OUTSTANDING. Room clean and over looked lake. Facilities in the room were great and all worked well. We would definitely return and recommend but for us that would be in the colder months.
Temperature in the bed/bathroom. We were lucky to arrive on a warm September day :0) however, the room was too warm to the point of being uncomfortable. A good fan is left in the room, but it just blew hot air around. The bathroom fan was very weak which made it very claustrophobic. We left the small windows open but just before bed we noticed there were loads of mozzies/bugs in the room as we were overlooking the lake. As soon as we left our room the hotel was cool and pleasant to be in. Shame there is no A/Cs in the room, as the view was beautiful. We also ate at the restaurant on site, which was ok but nothing special, lots of high calorie meals on offer and only low calorie option was soup. Bar food might have been the better option.
Great location, good food and treatment. Clean spacious room.
Awful customer service, trying to phone in advance to confirm advertised options. Pool not available and spa manager was rude.
Great room, restaurants and there’s a spa and gym. What’s not to like?
We were upgraded for free to a room with lake views. Breakfast was great! Very close to water sports.

Old furniture Outdated roomsNo air condition
Location and lake view
No toiletries were provided and tooth paste had to be bought for £8 pounds which is ridiculous, there should be note for customers before arrival what is not included.
Very large room, very light and comfy
A little noisy, use of pool is limited to 25 people which is a pain. They do not take cash!!!
Ideal location and close proximity to high street and main attractions. Aesthetically decorated
Lack of parking but public parking was close
