    Pros +

    • Great breakfast, excellent location, staff very helpful and polite.
    • From driving up the drive on arrival the building looks impressive. We were checked in and taken to our room which was spotless. We went on a day the sun was shining and managed to sit outside on the impressive terrace whilst we ate lunch, pate and toast and the cheese board. Never had a cheese board with a slab of cake and a glass of port included. After lunch we sat in the garden area and soaked up the sun as well as a few gin and tonics and a few pints of cider. We returned to our room for a shower and change and made it down to the restaurant, which we were recommended to book. The food was exceptional and piping hot, cannot fault a single mouthful. The waiting staff exceptionally attentive but not intrusive and very polite. We had a good nights sleep in very comfortable beds followed by one of the best hotel breakfasts I can remember, the fruit appeared to have been picked as we were sat down at our table. All in all, a magnificent experience and a winning way to celebrate my wife's birthday. Thank you, each and every member of staff for such a brilliant weekend. Definitely an 11 out of 10 kind of place.Book it, you won't be disappointed.
    • Fantastic breakfast selection and exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. Particular thanks goes to Kiki in the restaurant; nothing was too much trouble!

    Cons -

The lodge by far exceeded our expectations. The photos don’t do this place justice enough . It was in a stunning private and in secluded location facing the beautiful landscape of the North Yorkshire moors .

Can’t really fault anything about the lodge

Loved our stay at Sneaton, been many times now. Lovely hotel with friendly, welcoming staff. Food is faultless, excellent quality and great choice on the menu. Rooms are very good but a small fridge would be a great option. We will be returning again there is nothing not to like about this hotel/castle.

Fantastic place. Very clean and friendly staff. Food excellent also.

Trying to stream Netflix or prime in the room wasn't great. Continually buffering.

The Staff were so welcoming ,and polite.I know the Castle and some staff but as this visit was to arrange a Funeral and Celebration of Life it could have been difficult. The arrangements went well.

2 silly things actually.Lovely room but why no toilet roll holder in the bathroom and nowhere for shower jel or shampoo in the shower?Just oversights Im sure.
