WiFi was hit and miss

The chalet was huge, the bathroom was beautiful and the bed very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was really good, the restaurant had lovely views. The swimming pool was excellent.

Only a slight niggle at breakfast..the bacon, sausages and black pudding were put together in quite a small container..only scrambled eggs were put out but we asked for poached and we got them.

The property looked great, had good views and the wooden lodges were aesthetic. The Breakfast was nice

I was a big surprised to see that the cottages given to me had cobwebs all over and wasn’t thoroughly cleaned. I came to the front desk atleast three times to rent a robe but they kept running out of towels and robes. The jacuzzi had cold water, which wasn’t convenient because it normally is supposed to be warm to feel cozy. One of the chalets I had, its staircase was covered in bird shit. I had paid nearly 800 for two of the two bedroom chalets but I felt like the facilities were a bit short here. There is a lot more one would expect if they pay that kind of amount and simple things like robes or cleanliness is what one would expect. Overall, it was okay but considered I paid this much, I expected a lot more. Had gone ahead with the resort based off reviews but I’m not entirely sure if that was a wise choice. The two bedroom chalets are made to look like you get the entire top and bottom floor in pictures but when i went there, it was just the top floor covered as two bedroom that makes it a bit cramped up. Just thought that a little clarity there would really help one decide which one to go for.

Lovely complex with nice spa, good restaurant and lounge area. Lodge comfortable. Everything on site that you need. Nice sunny balcony off main building to sit and relax.

Spacious mostly everything you need. Be lovely to have a full length mirror and small patio set on the outside. The pool, spa and bars are amazing. Having a peacock as a neighbour was lovely we seen it both in the evening and in the morning came right up to us

It wasn’t cleaned properly. The toilet was a mess and crumbs on the side. Big ball of hair in the clean towels. Other than that it was fine. I found the service in the restaurant a little strange felt like staff would all stand together and stare, wed Jay come from swimming with hungry kids and got sat as far away from the nice bit where everybody else got sat who was dressed up, just found that abit weird.

The beds were comfortable and it looked the part the view was incredible

That there was no oven we had the option to stay at a caravan park but chose to pay a little extra which resulted in no oven and food we couldn't cook so had to go out again for food and no corkscrew for my wine which was inconvenient I had no option to choose hot tub and it looked like it came with one and was disappointing to find that it didn't come with that.. hot tub in spa area was just pool with bubbles and life guard letting children mess about and did nothing just sat and watched parking was a disgrace and spaces far too small just all crammed in someone parked next to me resulting in me having to climb through the passenger side which wasn't ideal

We stayed in the classic 2 bedroom lodge, it was spacious, clean & comfortable! The pool was lovely, the kids loved it and the jacuzzi aswell!! The lounge bar was comfortable, we spent most of our time in the sports bar & had food there also, it’s reasonably priced, decent portions & tasty! Staff in all departments were friendly! We’ve already booked to come back again to stay in a lodge with a hot tub!

There’s nothing that we didn’t like! Just being picky, we could have done with a tea towel to dry our pots and a bathmat in the bathroom!

Amazing stay, the chalet was massive so we had plenty of space! Comfy bed & pillows, powerful shower. The spa was very relaxing and clean. Staff was lovely. Good drink menu. Resort makes you feel like your actually on holiday, american vibes!

The steam room was off :(

Just my opinion room should have had switch on both sides of bed to turn lights on and off. I'm 6ft I had to stand in the shower ? and let water just pour from shower head without being able to use shower gel due to cubicle size. Breakfast looked amazing and very good selection but hot food was cold and various items for a cooked breakfast were over cooked.

Lovely place to stay, David the manager is so very friendly and smiley, can't do enough for you. Other staff members all lovely friendly just one on reception that wasn't to friendly, bad attitude. Lovely location and the lodges are the best. Cocktail bar of an evening is great and live bands on.

Could be more clean, room had alot of dust and cobwebs in the shower room. Walls marked, need a wipe down. Needs a little shop on site for bread and milk etc.

Breakfast was fine. Our Lodge was right opposite the facilities.

When booking, you had an option for 'any special requests'. It was my friend's 50th birthday so I requested a few banners. Received confirmation straight away to my email saying it would be possible. However, as soon as the cut-off date had arrived, I received another email saying it wouldn't be possible. Strange. While we were there I requested a small cake/cupcake /anything as a small token for her birthday but was told they don't do that. Fair enough. I also asked if we could be seated near the windows in the restaurant, they said those tables had to be prebooked. I said there was no option to do this and was told to 'just ask' next time. So, all in all, a little disappointed. The bar staff were, thankfully, superb! Above and beyond. We all got a complimentary shot for her birthday and cocktails were lovely, so a big thanks to them!

Cabin 34 toilet wouldn't flush properly bits all over couch rubber hanging off bottom of door had cleaners back out think they'd vacuum then gone with a damp cloth it stank then that's didn't like outside was a bit poor cobwebs shower was good just water went under shower glass and wet floor bit poor

Did like spa was great swimming pool sauna and gym was excellent the sports bar was great the girls behind the bar were brilliant and would recommend would go back probably a better room would have been better lady's in reception were good

Properties recent however a little tired in places which slightly let it down

Nothing at all

I liked the space. The living area was a good size and so were the bedrooms. Picked a lodge with a hot tub and we enjoyed that. Lovely grounds and the outside area was very clean. Close to Rhyl , Prestatyn , Towyn (that’s where we visited).

I didn’t like that there wasn’t much for kids. I saw in the February half term that they had activities , which was why I booked for us to go in the easter holidays. But there was nothing on. We ate twice at the sports bar, the atmosphere and staff were lovely but the food wasn’t the best. We tried dinner and tea. Didn’t eat breakfast as felt it was too expensive. £40 for a family of 3 (child being 5 and doesn’t eat much). Changing rooms for the pool were tiny. We only went once and it put us off going again as there was hardly space to breathe.

Great facilities, the cabins are close proximity to reception and the restaurant. The pool was good although a little cool and great that children are allowed in the pool. The gym was well equipped. Restaurant food was good and great cocktail selection.

Unfortunately the cabin was cold on arrival and no heating on. There was a remote but no batteries in it. There was no instructions so I just pressed the on button, a few hours later still nothing. Had to get reception to come up to fix, 1 worked perfectly although made strange noises through the night, the second wouldn't work so had to get a portable heater and 1 just went off and never came back on. Was really chilly so unfortunately impacted the overall score. Should provide instructions for future. The cabin lacked a bit of cosiness, could of done with a rug, coffee table, some pics on the wall.

Lovely roomy lodges, beds very comfortable. Fantastic food in restaurant and great service, friendly welcome by every staff member we encountered, stunning views from restaurant terrace where we had drinks before dinner. We booked a table in the restaurant window and watched the sun set over the sea. Food was top class and a fair price. Cocktail bar and DJ were fun, cocktails very good. Pool was lovely, changing rooms clean. Just a very enjoyable night/ experience and they deserve the high rating for their efforts. Felt like customer service was important to them and we were valued. Will definitely be returning asap!

There was no hairdryer or tea towel provided. I should have asked as soon as I noticed as the manager told me at check out there should have been. Minor details...and if you think something is missing, tell reception!
