- On Entry to hotel reception it smelt very musty. After tattling the stairs to bedroom the smell didn't get any better. The mattress was poor it was like just sleeping on the base. Bathroom is in need of a make over. Inside the wardrobe was a item of ladies underwear which did not belong to me. If this hotel is a wedding venue I would recommend it.
- Decent enough for the night we stayed. Nice pics of dining and bar facilities on thr site but both closed so we couldnt even sit out in the lovely garden for a drink (maybe staff can pop in to bar periodically instead of closing it Very run down in the bedroom (ceiling cracking and co centre it would split). Fire escape blocked as ivy had grown over it. Aesthetics over safety? Dangerous in a fire. Needs a lot of work and o make it good and safe.
- There was a cigarette butt on the floor next to my bed. There was only small towels in the room. The room smelt old and the coffee in the room was really horrible.
