Pros +
- The hotel itself is absolutely stunning, the rooms were breathtaking with cosy beds and the huge tv where we could login to our Netflix and Disney accounts - made me want to stay in bed the whole time! The spa was nice and it was great to be able to order drinks poolside. Delicious meal at the Korean Cowgirl and definitely recommend having your breakfast in bed - I had amazing French Toast while watching the Holiday in my dressing gown, a perfect December morning!
- The design of the hotel and rooms is what stood out to me the most and the highlight of my stay because it didn’t feel like we were staying in a UK hotel as others are very traditional and old fashioned designs but this one really stood out.
- In a very nice location, the staff was very helpful with what ever you needed and the food was very nice.
Cons -
- The spa needs one or two more seats, as it’s quite limited on space!
- Food was a bit pricey, didn’t really like that in the Firepit restaurant the food menus set up were for sharing (can order separately though) food tasted great though
- The check in a 3pm seemed like you lose half your day soon as you get there, The pool and hot tub was very nice but cramped there’s only 4 beds to use once there taken you have to just dump your stuff somewhere you can keep an eye on it, Also drinks prices so if your buying two drinks for £12 it bumps up to £18 whether it be a service charge or tax I don’t know but I think it’s a little steep your not really getting what you pay for

I think the rooms at the cave are phenomenal. They really do make you want to stay in them and relax all day. The golf course is very accessible also.
Unfortunately at the time we had went, the spa didn’t look very well maintained. We saw a lot of corrosion on the metal work and on the marble tiling. The jacuzzi didnt had a slightly unpleasant smell to it. Overall due to the look of everything, it just seemed as thought it had been neglected.
nice location, clean, good facilities
you cannot use any of the facilities after checking out at 11am, this is the first hotel I know that Does not allow you to do this.
The room was breathtaking, it was exactly as pictured. The beds were so comfortable and the property is nice and secluded so you can really relax. The staff were very friendly and we felt comfortable moving around the hotel.
There were quite a few stains on the carpets in the room, as this hotel is fairly costly things like that are always disappointing to see. The pool/jacuzzi area could have more beds since it did get fairly busy in the evening and I saw some couples leave because of a lack of places to put their towels. Lastly, the pool area could be cleaned more often as drinks glasses were left around after people had left.
Cave Hotel absolutely beautiful inside and outside … amazing golf courses Inside the cave hotel… it felt very warm cosy feel … the spa area was very good with the use of sauna/ steam room was hot and perfect…along with the dark atmosphere giving off a romantic vibe … so relaxing… to which is a fab idea of ordering cocktails or drinks you would like to have at the side of the pool … easy access to ordering of the iPad by side of the pool !
? umm! We didn’t have any plates … for our room service meal!!! Only the receptionist staff… was so apologetic very helpful on this issue indeed !!!
This is our absolute favourite hotel. This was our first stay here but have already booked another. The staff are incredibly friendly and can’t do enough to help you. The facilities are amazing and the location is lovely. Food at the Firepit is immaculate and the room was very clean. 10/10 from me.
Nothing to really comment here but one thing to note i suppose - I accidentally forgot my hairbrush and Reception don’t have combs or hairbrushes but there was a big Tesco 10 min drive away so was no issue and Reception helped with this. Only pointing this out as other hotels have been able to provide a small plastic comb as i tend to forget such items…
Lovey Venue nice vibe
The bed room not bad but cleaning wasn’t completely up to scratch and snack bar had been handled a few times before crisps with crumpled packets and sugars. 1 front of house lovely the other seemed a bit stand offish
The hotel was really warm and welcoming from the minute you pull into the estate. Plenty of parking and free charging points for electric cars. The restaurants are very Trendy, especially the Korean cowgirl. The spa was nice, we managed to have it to ourself for 10 minutes which was good. I would have like to enjoyed the outside bar, but the weather wasn’t good.
There isn’t enough beds in the spa area for guests. You could see the disappointment on peoples face when they arrived and had no where to sit. It made the experiment awkward.
Very comfortable bed
Facilities was very small. The videos are deceiving on tiktok. The sauna and steam room was not working. Pool was very strong with chlorine. The food was bang average and over priced
So nice and pretty and relaxing
The food was overpriced and bad quality in Korean cowgirl
Staff were professional and very friendly in the hotel and restaurants. The room was comfortable and extremely clean. Linens were so soft. Nice decoration of the lobby. Really well kept golf course.
The spa could have more chairs. The restaurants don't have many vegan or vegetarian options which was disappointing
Location was okay, not the best of you couldn’t drive. The view from the room was nice, probably have better views in other rooms. The food in the Korean cowgirl was beautiful; but very expensive. The sofa and desk chair were soooo comfortable, would have happily taken the desk chair home with me ? the rainfall shower was lovely but slightly awkward if you didn’t want to get your hair wet, and pressure was slightly low. Pool got busy quickly, however the overall the stay was amazing and I would definitely come back and will definitely be recommending to everyone ??
Room was very attractive, lovely linen and towels plus bath robes even for the kids. We especially enjoyed the swimming pool and the children were welcomed. Korean cowgirl restaurant was delicious.
There were several large stains on the carpet inside our suite, which was a bit disappointing due to the cost of the room
Everything modern, fancy, updated and clean
Lovely place, clean and tidy.
We paid £70 for room service to be served two bowls of meat that wasn’t hot and wasn’t even that nice. The menu in the room advertised that it came with tortillas, cheese, dips and pickles which I would understand paying for but two bowls of meat absolutely no way. For this reason I wouldn’t stay again. We were then told by reception we could order another dish to make up for this and they ended up charging us for this at the end of our day. They said they would refund this to me however I still haven’t received it and it was over three weeks ago that we stayed there. No reply from their reception after sending an email and I was told on 27/10/23 that it was with the general manager and I will get a reply soon - still no reply.
Staff was exceptionally friendly and attentive. The room was comforting, felt luxurious and clean. The spa/swimming pool area was relaxing and I like how it's dark and dim so it felt more intermate, although a tad small - we decided to go again at a quieter time and it was great! I didn't play but there's a lovely golf course access for the husband! Looks well kept. And he enjoyed himself!
The chicken wings were great but some of the saucier meals can be very strong and full with flavour which I think having little is better. It would have been good to have more hooks by the pool for our robes especially at a busy time where there's no spot to place them and it can get mixed up.I wish there was a full spa/massage retreat here and it would have been perfect! Although there's a couple spas nearby which we drove to.
Lovely and relaxing, set up for ultimate chill. Bed is unbelievably comfortable and fridge stocked with good snacks
The spa could do with a few more loungers
Bed was extremely comfortable the hotel was a lovely environment spa was lovely although could of done with more places to hang your robes We are in the Korean cowgirl food was exceptional and Jamie our waiter was fantastic and went above and beyond and looked after us fabulously all night
For the price you pay for the hotel think breakfast should be included
