Location
Small room and bathroom. Very squeaky floor
The breakfast was generous and of good quality, the manager was very helpful. It was very useful to have late access as we were in Dunster for a wedding, the window seats in the breakfast room were very pleasant looking out onto the. historic high street
The decor was a little dated but this is only a reflection of taste, to others it may seem quaint. Obviously the building is old with narrow and winding stairs which is part of its charm I don't know the answer to the problem of carrying luggage to the upper floors other than the helpful manager, or designate another member of staff to double as an on call porter!
Location, beautiful place.
Stairs and bar area.
Location and cleanliness Breakfast is great
Room was smaller than photos make it look tv not great
Breakfast was great. Room was spacious and well decorated. Looked out over the yarn market.
The parking could be a problem as no car park
Lovely central location and our room overlooked the Yarn Market, fabulous!
Nothing really although breakfast could run a little later on a Sunday!
The location is right in the heart of the village but quiet. Car parking at Dunster Deep was £6 per 24 hours and only 5 minutes walk away. The hotel layout is quirky, but has everything you want and the staff were great. The menu was adequate and the food excellent and produced very quickly, especially if you preordered at the time of reservation.
The food was excellent. The lamb was exceptional.Friendly, relaxed atmosphere. The location was excellent.
Lack of proper cups for drinks in the room.
Located right by the famous octagonal Yarn Market and in sight of the Castle, which is a couple of hundred yards away, the staff of this traditional hotel make you feel very welcome, not least because of a generous full English breakfast.
Parking anywhere in Dunster is a challenge. There is a large pay car park a couple of hundred yards away where you can leave your car once you’ve dropped your bag. That said, I managed to park on both nights of our stay free of charge on the street.
The location is fantastic, free parking is available after busy part of day and reasonably charged parking only a couple of minutes walkWe booked a meal in the restaurant and food was lovely and the staff service very good. Great breakfast too with everyone very helpful
Excellent breakfast. Staff friendly and helpful. We were able to get into our room early. Very clean.
Plastic cups for self made coffee in our room.Decor tired and dated.
The hotel.had a lot of character and a large and comfortable bedroom with a large bathroom with bath and shower.Breakfast was good and the staff very friendly and helpful
Difficult to park but reparked car before 9am the following mirning
The Hotel is located on the high street in the centre of Dunster , offering easy access by foot to the village and castle .We opted for an evening meal which along with the breakfast were very well presented and great food .The Yarn hotel offered good value for money compared with local hotels .
The bar area at the back of the hotel was a little confined , we opted to go out elsewhere for an evening drink .
Everythig was great! Location central to Dunster, breakfast was delicious and all the staff were super friendly. Very good place to travel with dogs -super clean and hygenic.
Lovely location, excellent food though breakfast menu/buffet was not as extensive as similar hotels. Staff very helpful. No dedicated hotel parking, we were lucky and had no problem, but not sure everyone would be as fortunate.
Excellent staff Excellent service Excellent hotel and excellent food and a excellent bedroom
Excellent thanks
The property was fine as I expected. The room was nice and I could get the lift to the room as promised as I had a hip problem.
Couldn’t park close by.Even the disabled space was taken by a big white van without a badge. I managed to park in car park nearby.
