    Pros +

    • The breakfast was delicious, and the breakfast staff was wonderful.
    • Comfortable stay in lovely location.Good value with an excellent breakfast.
    • I have stayed here before and enjoyed it (5 years ago). The location is good, it's quiet and near the sea. Some aspects of the hotel and its rooms are quite stylish.

    Cons -

    • manager unhelpful, unfriendly. room at top of 3 flights of stairs, furnishings, carpet tired n old. bathroom tiny shower worse. bed thin saggy. manager didn¿t show how to use heat, shower, coffee pot. Skim milk for coffee not cream
    • I awoke in the morning covered in bed bug bites. Around 30 of them all over my back, neck, arms and thighs. I can now see other reviews mentioning this in room 16 so they must have known about it. There are bed bug traps which I hadn't noticed until the morning and they had bed bugs in them! I reported it and basically I had the option of leaving Cornwall a day early or taking another room for my final night, that room (7) did not have any bugs. The lady on reception at checkout agreed I should be refunded but she wasn't able to do it. The manager was apparently still asleep (at 10am?) but I was assured I would be contacted to arrange this. I never was. Emails went unanswered. After about 10 days I contacted my credit card company for a chargeback. It has taken nearly 2 weeks to stop itching! Awful experience.
    • As solo traveller got a narrow bed and a small room, not enough space for me to do my morning stretches comfortably

Good breakfasts, convenient location, friendly staff

Loved Lisa and Charlie, So helpful and friendly. Breakfast was very nice I’d say the main negative was no heat provided to the room unless asked for and also when you leave a message using the phone in the room, no one seems to respond

Upon arrival, the host was very inviting and helpful. The room was beautifully presented and extremely comfortable with all of the amenities that you could possibly need. The breakfast provided in the morning was fantastic, with a wonderful selection to choose from and all of it cooked fresh to order using local ingredients. If I am travelling back in the area, I will certainly look to book to stay back here first.

The staff was very accomodating and friendly. They prepared my room a little early when I asked to store my bags there before check-in. The room was exactly what they said it would be. The breakfasts were terrific, in a bright and cheery space. I would definitely book with them if in the area again.

Good breakfast. A short stroll down hill into town. Plenty of pubs and restaurants within walking distance.

    Limited parking onsite.

    8ElizabethPosted on: 4-22-2025

Very nice staff. Good location. Good breakfast. Comfy bed.

The building was not very soundproofed so you could hear other people talking, shutting doors, going to bed.

This was my second time staying on my own in Falmouth and at the Lerryn. It is such a great space with fantastic light, lovely rooms, delicious breakfast & considerate & friendly staff. Not to mention you are moments from the sea , and the beautiful beach Gylly. My favourite place to stay when visiting Falmouth.Close to everything you need but away from the busyness of a bank holiday weekend.Wouldn’t hesitate.

    7CarlyPosted on: 4-20-2025

Lovely hotel, great little lounge downstairs for guests to use. Lovely lawn and beautiful views.

The crockery and cutlery were dirty. It wasn't just a one off, every item in both the dinning room and bedroom still had food/drink residue on it and needed a good clean before using. Looks like they are just ran through a dish washer and not actually checked for cleanliness.

    10KarenPosted on: 4-18-2025

This was my third stay at the Lerryn and wasn’t disappointed. The location to Falmouth Town is good and so near the sea. The food and service was very good, staff were polite and professional. Will stay there again.
