    Pros +

    • Our room was very pleasant, and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good, and the lady was very friendly and helpful.
    • Room was very nice. Large Super King bed was very comfortable. The bedside lamps were very cute (looked like boats and the shades looked like sails)
    • Property was great location was perfect for are evening in Perranporth

    Cons -

    • We had enquired about bringing our little dog, but were told we would have to pay an extra £90 (then £80) for a dog friendly room, on top of £197 already paid. Also, when asked if we could check in early to change for a wedding, an extra £30 was suggested, so we changed in the toilets. Seems a bit excessive!
    • Breakfast was nice but the sausage could've been a bit better.
    • The room we stayed in was nice 16 just a shame the people in the room next to us were very noisy and kept us awake through too the early hours

    Quiet peaceful location

I got the worst room in the hotel , no view , tv round the corner from bed.

    9AndrewPosted on: 7-16-2024

Quiet, clean , friendly and polite staff.

    4NickPosted on: 7-16-2024

Excellent lady on reception who did lunchtime bar duty and served the breakfast.

For the price charged I would have expected more choice at breakfast with better quality ingredients. It would have been nice to have had some other snacks or sandwiches available for lunch, rather than crisps. Breakfast room was cold. It seems the place is run on a shoestring. A water heating boost for the outdoor pool would have been nice, as solar just doesn't deliver.

The Hotel was lovely, and very clean. We were especially happy with a spotless bathroom and starched linens, the bed was very comfortable, we were able to totally darken the room at night. It was wonderful. The staff is very accommodating, for example they opened the bar for us after 9pm. Breakfasts were very tasty. The village of St. Agnes is lovely and has beach access. From here we also toured to Lands End and Minack Theatre, it was fine. We wished we had spent three nights instead of two. A very nice hotel which we highly recommend.

Lovely hotel & grounds in a quiet location. Miners Arms a short walk away was excellent.

Absence of other guests significantly affected the ambiance with only two other sets of guests being noted over our 3 day break in this twenty plus bedroom facility. Restaurant was not open so thank goodness for the Miners Arms.

Location amazing, staff very friendly and very comfortable bed and nice sized room.

Not good value for money, bathroom needs updating, pool not clean, only instant coffee available at breakfast, would expect filter coffee as minimum for price, very basic amenities.

Intriguing building & calm environment. Enjoyed the original & local art works . Lovely outside.

Couldn’t use the outdoor pool yet! Some light at end of drive , as we had gone out & returned late and it was very dark.

Breakfast, little choice of cereal, general lack of option.

Few people in the restaurant and pudding wasn't available alternative cheesecake was still partially frozen. The waitress who wasn't that attentive or cheerful stated when l said that it could be defrosted rather rudely said no we can't do that you can have an alternative. She stated that l had said it was tastless, implying why would l want another one!! I retorted that was because it was still frozen. To prevent any more of her irritation l had the sticky toffee pudding. We felt the hotel lacked atmosphere apart from the friendliness of the receptionist on our arrival and departure, there was little interaction with staff

Seemingly a lack of staffOno e day I had to search for someone to serve BreakfastBreakfast didn’t start until 8 30 which didn’t help with my plans for the dayTowels not changed on a daily basis

The hotel was in a nice location, apart from that nothing much.

Breakfast was awful. Poor choice, little choice. Items cleared away before people had finished.
