    Pros +

    • Superb location right in the heart of the town
    • A spotlessly clean and a comfortable room.
    • Location excellent friendly staff

    Cons -

    • My bedroom was bright and dual aspect and very comfortable but located directly above noisy fans perhaps from kitchens/bar that ran continuously stopping at midnight and restarted at 6am so didn’t have as peaceful a sleep as I expected. That was my only minor issue.
    • The breakfast buffet was somewhat disappointing in terms of menu choice and the coffee repeatedly only luke warm. However, some staff members kindly used their initiative to organise hot drinks for us.
    • We are in our sixties found the staris to the second floor a bit tricky

Was nice and clean and good location.

So for the money we feel it should of included a full English but it didn't very disappointing that you have to pay extra. it says when you book breakfast is included. They should state that its only contaiental.

Good location, easy to park. Friendly welcoming staff

    9MarkPosted on: 2-15-2026

Loads of room, nice and comfortable, has a fridge, has sufficient items for cooking etc.

    Nothing, all good.

    10DeanPosted on: 2-15-2026

A good selection of continental , fresh fruit ,yoghurt, pastries, and cereals. We also had a cooked breakfast

    7StevePosted on: 2-12-2026

Clean, comfortable hotel in central location.

Very noisy at night owing to central location. Buses, deliveries, bells, people walking by chatting or shouting. Sadly the windows do very little to help.

    9MartinPosted on: 2-12-2026

Great staff. Room and public areas very clean and well decorated. Very secure free parking in an excellent central location

A little bit cold at night, could have benefitted from a spare blanket in the room

    10MeeshyPosted on: 2-12-2026

Wonderful hotel right in the centre of Truro. We stayed overnight after seeing a show at Hall for Cornwall, its right across the road! Super rooms, great breakfast, just wonderful.

    8JohnPosted on: 2-10-2026

Continental breakfast was superb.Location in the centre of Truro is perfect.

The double bed was apparently a king size but it seemed smaller. The window wouldn't stay open as the double glazing is too heavy. The bathroom basin waste was blocked.

Location in the centre of town and private gated parking was brilliantThe room was clean, comfortable and cosyContinental breakfast was included in the price, which was really good , and a choice of cooked breakfast was also available for an extra charge

Bar prices were a bit too high

very good location for town centre

On arrival toilet seat broken and off hinges, also evidence from previous occupant remaining. About 10 at night and staff unable to find me alternative room. Second day it was replaced with new. Staff apologetic but no offer of a small refund/ gratuity despite my asking. Had paid upfront.

    10PaulinePosted on: 2-5-2026

Absolutely ideal for our visit to Truro...gated parking perfect . . Close to Hall for Cornwall and central to all shops. Hotel beautiful. Staff very polite. We had continental breakfast for which there was an excellent choice. Would definitely stay again.

    8NikiPosted on: 2-4-2026

Great location and the room was very nice

Lots of stairs, no lift and limited vegan options for breakfast and dinner

    7JohnPosted on: 2-1-2026

Standard breakfast- no surprises: not much on the continental sidd is no cheese of ham. Dinner was excellent as was the service

A decent ale on tap: fridge cold ale is a bad option

    7MichaelPosted on: 1-29-2026

Room was good. Breakfast was OK but some buffet items were brought out in very small quantities. Both coffee and tea machines were refillled with 1 jugful and ran out quickly

Lack of a lift meant that I found it difficult to access the room with suitcases as I am over 80 years old.

    10AfonsoPosted on: 1-28-2026

Staff was super friendly, from the receptionists, the waitress at Dinner service (Leah) was very friendly, and the breakfast staff was also amazing.

    No water in the room.

    4KarenPosted on: 1-28-2026

Great location, clean and food nice.

Staff werent over friendly apart from one new member. Didn't make you feel that welcome and had the 'cant be bothered attitude ' and didn't go out their way to accommodate, considering the price per night costs and for a winter price that was quite expensive. The bed had no support, the pillows were lumpy. No added extra bedding.Considering the price there were no complimentary water and when asked for it , it was poured from the tap into a recycled bottle. There was lukewarm water when having a shower and the pressure was none at all.The rooms were too stuffy and all windows were screwed down. When booking it was misleading when it stated breakfast included, it was a very basic Continental breakfast and you had to pay in full from pancakes to a small breakfast. Not the best Hotel weve stayed in for the high price we paid.

    8LeyPosted on: 1-28-2026

Mannings hotel is in the centre of Truro ans has carparking. The room was very comfortable and breakfast was delicious

The room was slighly cold due to the sash window
