Wonderful location on Chipperfield common.

Extremely hard mattress. Didn't really sleep much.

Excellent service from the staff. Good sized bedroom. Lovely meals. Nice and quiet location.

Room decor could do with a little TLC but did not detract from our opinions of the pub. Duvet was a little too warm for our personal needs.

The place had a damp smell throughout & the decor was tired - very average standard of food

The breakfast is great and the rooms are clean and spacious. For work it's near to the site so thats a bonus. Staff are great as well

Overall the location suited us. It is a pub/hotel which was fine. The dinner menu was good as was the available drinks.

The room had a sofa bed which was set up as a bed in addition to the main large bed. Wasted lots of space. As you were eating and drinking in the pub area you could not add anything to your room bill. A little inconvenient to keep paying for individual visits to the bar. Finally the shower in the room had no power si it was difficult to get wet!

The only nice part was the view over the village green

The rooms are 20 years overdue for a remodel. Dinner was just passable. Never seen a medium rare steak more white then red.

The pub was a chocolate box country pub, very quiet area, absolutely perfect. Staff were very friendly and helpful, food was excellent, rooms were large and bed was extremely comfortable.

Nothing, we plan to visit again.

Bathroom was very tired with chrome fitting peeling, no toilet roll holder and black mould .Breakfast shown on website included Porridge and Bananas, the only breakfast my husband can eat for medical reasons. neither was available, hence no breakfast for my husband

Bedrooms needed updating

It was convenient for Warner Brothers Studio, lovely location, staff were very friendly and helpful, room was clean and comfortable, everything we needed. Breakfast was very nice , good choices, hot and well presented. Was a lovely stay.

The breakfast was lovely and staff at breakfast very helpful and attentive.

Not much selection for evening meals.

The accommodation area looks like it needs a refresh in terms of decor. The bathroom was small, and was very much in need a of refresh with evidence of potential damp on the ceiling.

Bath needs a revamp

1st bedroom key wouldn't work. We were told it had been difficult for some time. The 2nd was difficult but my husband sorted it without small problems over the 2 days and nights there. The shower control was difficult to obtain a comfortable temperature, too hot. Only 1 hand towel given us. The table given to us for dinner was very close to bar and therefore noisy, Luckily there was room for us to move. It was very clean but needs a big uplift. Car parking was good. The staff were excellent dealing with our problems. I would like to think we would stay again at a later date. A very comfortable bed with plenty of space in room.

We stay at The Two Brewers two or three times a year. It's a beautiful historic building with friendly and efficient staff and attractive public rooms.The bedrooms are very comfortable and the beds are excellent. The decor and bathrooms could do with an update, but this is reflected in the reasonable room rates.

Staff friendly . Bed very comfortable, room clean but could do with re-decoration: wallpaper torn in quite a few places: I think the expression is " tired "..
