Pros +
- StFf were welcoming and helpful. Food was excellent.
- The grounds are beautiful !The restaurant Fork had excellent food the first night and there was a wedding going on but there was enough distance that we didn’t feel like we were intruding. The bar area was very nice and comfortable place to wait with a glass of wine and a book while my husband was golfing. The concierge was very helpful in arranging a car to Windsor Castle. It was very hot and our room had great AC.the location was perfect as well for both my husband and I to get to our activities. Plenty of parking!
- the location is amazing. staff were so friendly and welcoming
Cons -
- Room was ok but would have expected full air conditioning insteAd of the stand alone cooler which was very noisy.
- 2nd night the food was a little off at Fork, seemed like it was reheated.
- the hotel didnt meet my expectation. it should be 2-3 star hotel. there is no lifts. i had to bring my luggage by stair case from level 3 all the way down.

Great location
Old rooms, mediocre breakfast buffet
Location and dinner was exceptional
One member of staff, a man, was a bit offhand and dismissed his female colleague on our arrival. The females on reception were excellent in comparison
My room was spacious and comfortable.
Bathroom - narrow opening to access bath and grab rail not adjacent to entry/exit from bath.
The room was spotless, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. My favorite part was the shower room, which offered a three-dimensional water flow—an absolutely enjoyable experience.Breakfast had a great variety, with delicious croissants and aromatic coffee.I also appreciate Vincenzo, the operations manager, for his professionalism and strong sense of courtesy. He always welcomes feedback, whether positive or negative, and listens to guests with patience and genuine interest.
The waiter in the breakfast room appeared rude and dismissive, at least towards me. When I walked in and greeted him, he did not respond. Later, when serving my tea, he placed the pot on my table without a word. Interestingly, I noticed a stark contrast in his demeanor when serving local British guests, which made me wonder about the reason for the difference. When I shared my experience with the receptionist, I was told that 18-year-olds are shy when speaking to adults and that I shouldn't feel bad about it. I found this response both ridiculous and condescending. Providing proper staff training and ensuring polite customer service should be a basic requirement for a four-star hotel. Additionally, the receptionist should be more mindful of their responses, as unprofessional remarks can reflect poorly on the hotel's reputation.
Room was cleanBed was very comfortableFree canned still water was offered as well as coffee and tea
sometimes can hear door slamming late in the evening or early in the morning
Room was super cleanBed was extremely cofmortable
Receptionist attempted to serve two customers simultaneously, disregarding the fact that I had been waiting first. Furthermore, both the receptionist and the duty manager displayed an impolite and condescending attitude, which was deeply unprofessional and unacceptable. The duty manager was blunt and attempted to correct what I said to him in a educative manner. This behavior not only compromised the quality of service but also made me feel undervalued as a guest.
We asked for a quiet room and we had a great room at the end of a corridor and on the top floor. Staff were very pleasant and helpful at all times.
Nothing to dislike.
Beautiful hotel on lovely grounds. All the staff were so courteous and helpful we felt genuinely cared for. Our room was really lovely, comfortable and spotless.
Liked everything.
Comfortable bed. Breakfast was very good.
17% service charge added to our breakfast bill.No dressing gowns in rooms
Very clean, staff exceptional. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The bar area was really cosy with fires lit. Incredibly accommodating with our daughter’s dog. Afternoon coffee great. Dog treats too. We will certainly be back.
It’s a lovely setting, beautiful cosy family room perfect for our 1 night stay. Large bathroom, practical with kids. Breakfast room was nice, and the breakfast had all the expected. They did have GF bread and toasted separately for my daughter. She wasn’t glutened so that is positive! Allergens were clearly marked.
Beautiful hotel in Ascot,Great breakfast , very efficient people in the reception they helped me organising transfers.Everything perfect
All ok
Property and room was great
Meal at the restaurant was tasty but the dessert was very disappointing, £12 for the pavalova which was essentially once meringue nest from Tesco and a couple berries wasn’t what I was expecting. But the restaurant staff did remove it from the the bill. Staff were great and food was tasty otherwise
The photos didn't do the justice of how picturesque the hotel was, especially fully decorated for Christmas. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the location was great - very quiet area. The fireplace in the shared place added cosiness and homelike feel. Will definitely come back!
The shower could have had a removable head, and walls could have been more soundproof - we were able to hear next-door neighbours. Unfortunately, food at the restaurant Fork wasn't to our liking, so we wouldn't recommend dining there.
We were the only couple for dinner so a cosy table was set up for us in an adjoing room beside the dining room.
The rooms were a little on the cold side.
Arrived very late for a quick stopover so didn’t get to use the facilities but it all seemed very nice and clean and would stay again. Room was very comfortable.
Friendly staff and very clean
Didn’t sleep well as mattress needs replacing. Not only were drinks expensive at the hotel bar we were charged £6.60 service charge on drinks bill. Breakfast not included in the price.
