Harper's Steakhouse with Rooms, Southampton Swanwick Marina

We were made very welcome on arrival. The room was clean and comfortable. The food in the restaurant was very good.

The shower and sink were not well cleaned, and the cups in the room still had old tea rings around the inside.

The double bed is two singles pushed together never like these as you get that uncomfortable bit in the middle

Walls between the rooms on the upstairs wing are a little thin. No real ale.

The room was extremely clean and comfortable with a quality shower, coffee, water, fresh milk and biscuits!Plenty of on site parking, the staff were very helpful and the attached restaurant served a great variety of food and drink

Room 20 in separate block required long walk outside in the rain to get to Reception and Restaurant…very badly arranged.

Room was very small,i have never seen such a small bathroom and had to have the door open to fit in,floorboards were loose and it was not very clean,gutter leaked and water rattled on window sill all night so had no sleep.

To say it's a steakhouse the steak I had for my evening meal was really poor.

I have stayed at Harpers on many occasions. The rooms are comfortable and clean with a great on site bar and restaurant.

It was all fine.

Breakfast was not great and food for party for Xmas Davies transport was ok but too long in-between courses last year was a lot better

Everything…the food was amazing and the room was lovely and staff were brilliant

We waited a long time to be served our breakfast but we were offered a drink free of charge because of that, also the tv didn’t work well

Did what it said on the tin

I was immediately above the public areas of the restaurant and it was very noisy until at least 11:30

Very convenient location. Easy check in with friendly staff. American motel-like feel but luxurious touches - homemade shortbread, little bottle of fresh milk in fridge, Bramley products…

It's so peaceful and quiet, the rooms are huge, clean and warm. Every staff member we interacted with was enthusiastic, kind, and informative. It's so nice we booked another trip away here as we were on our trip!
