Great rooms very clean exceptional staff great cocktails and food

Reception and check in was perfect, lovely service in the bar and a great room, fabulous breakfast again with great service.

The location is lovely and beautiful view, lovely decor and ambience in the hotel. Rooms comfortable and clean.

The service was exceptional. We felt the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and we really appreciated it. The food was also delicious. We ended up staying in and having room service because it was so nice-my four year old daughter is hard to please, but she enjoyed all of her meals thoroughly.

Staff were great very professional helpful & courteous. Hotel & room clean , bar & all staff & service very good despite being busy . Due to upturn on weather they catered for breakfast outside ! Spa a little disappointing it is very small , pictures are misleading , the sauna fits only two people, & spa only 6/8 people capacity , we were fortunate as a group were leaving(& we were advised at reception to book ahead for pool etc) but others were not . It is very small but clean & well run .

Its the most we have ever paid for a nights stay. Probably expected a bath in room and a toilet brush.

Bedroom, breakfast. Except when we arrived there was no milk , empty shower containers and curtain had to be pulled . Friendly staff

Dinners were a bit disappointing and lamb was tough . But pleasantly and satisfactory handled with free alternative.

Location superb, bar and restaurant Superb, Staff outstanding, Customer services extremely good.

There were a couple of unfortunate minor complaints but they were dealt with in a very professionally and satisfactory manner.

The captains table is superb the room was fabulous looking over the river and sea what a Veiw food amazing Sunday lunch on my birthday Thank you to all the team great service and atmosphere

Excellent breakfast, good choice of fruits, pastries and hot dishes. All very fresh and beautifully presented.Great setting by the river but with an easy walk into Christchurch

All meals were cooked well and nicely presented. The bedroom was large very clean and comfortable. Lovely view out onto the river.

The whole vacation was fabulous, it is our third visit, staff are great, well looked after, the ambiance was just right, food was very tasty, well served. I really liked that my parking space had a ‘reserved’ post for the whole duration.

Staff were friendly and helpful. We ate dinner and breakfast at the hotel, which was good.The location was great.

The spa is quite small and there's a limit to the amount of people who can use at one time. Unfortunately, you don't know how busy it is until you get there.

The Sap treatment experience was merely average; the hydrotherapy pool wasn’t working for the entirety of our stay, and our room didn’t have a full waterfront view, which was a shame.

The staff was very welcoming, professional, and looked after us from the day we arrivedOur room was quite spacious with a lovely view on the river. So peaceful.The breakfast and dinner were perfect! Definitely recommend anyone to come and dine here, even if you are not staying in the hotel. We managed to use the Spa twice. Little swimming pool, with jacuzzi and sauna. Perfect to relax at the end of the day. Lovely facilities. All the hotel was cleaned and well maintained. We brought our bicycles to discover the area, great location of the hotel as you could go on the coast side or New Forest area. It was a lovely long weekend for us!

Maybe the fact that the Spa was not accessible at all times. (Due to a max capacity of 8 people).
