Position comfortable stay
Stopped being a hotel just a very nice B and B - no food in the evening at all!
Very quaint, lovely big room, comfortable bed.
Parking
Large comfy bed, nice bar area.
Tall bath, so getting in and out of shower difficult.
all went as expected - stayed many times and will be coming back
room 303 - the heated towel holder is to close to teh shower entrance or make teh shower entrance bigger - it would had been nice to open the windows , even restricted
The room was very spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was so much choice and so delicious. Central location and excellent bar.
I don’t think I could improve on anything. Would definitely return and recommend
bedroom very comfortable with all amenities. Breakfast top quality.
Lift very claustrophobic and on web site billed with restaurant serving evening meals which apparently has now closed. However receptionist very helpful in providing alternatives.
Lovely room, good bar, superb breakfast, all in the right location
Parking opposite the hotel meant carrying bags across a fairly busy road. Leaving the parking area could also be a challenge.
We had a lovely stay, staff are friendly, professional and very accommodating. The hotel is perfectly situated in Christchurch town, within walking distance to all amenities, could not fault our room, with wonderful views overlooking the priory, we will definitely be back
Our stay wasn't long enough
Very pleasant stay - Good location in central Christchurch and convenient for our evening entertainment ‘Faulty Towers Experience’ next door. Lovely, spacious room and bathroom. Friendly staff, good breakfast, liked the artistic, boutique hotel style decor in the bar/restaurant.
Limited parking across the road but managed to get a space and it was free. Small TV for such a large room.
Lovely hotel. Room was on the small side but plenty big enough for me. Bathroom was big.
Damage to shower tray. Didn't affect use but was a bit unsightly.
Location was amazing.Parking was nearby but not guaranteed so stressful. The mattress in 202 had ‘gone’ on one side.Bath side height made it difficult to access the shower for a woman in her 60s with an arthritic hip! Shame there wasn’t a walk in shower instead.Views of the Priory from my window were great.Staff were very welcoming and friendly. All in all we had a lovely stay.
Room 304, in the eaves, which isn’t too bad if you’re not too tall. I’m 5’9” so a bit difficult sitting up in the bed due to the eaves. I’d call it a compact double room but we were only there to sleep & the weather was good so out most of the time. Room was very, very clean, thank you to the cleaners who took a lot of care. Nice to have bottles of water & milk in the fridge which, along with tea, coffee & biscuits were topped up daily. Reception very helpful too.Noise from next rooms air conditioning unit was a bit disturbing but didn’t go on constantly. We were lucky to park in their slots opposite & the park & river walks were great. Also visited the museum.
Staff were friendly and very helpful. Hotel was beautiful and right in the middle of Christchurch. Would recommend to others
Fabulous Location opposite old ruined castle. Hotel has been recently refurbished. Bar & restaurant area are gorgeous & there were complimentary drinks tokens on arrival.
One plug socket in the room was loose and not safe but fixed quickly on reporting so staff were responsive and helpful.
Staff really welcoming, found us a table for evening meal. Evening meal and breakfast were really good. Welcome token for a drink was nice idea as was the fresh milk in the fridge in room.
Small muddle on dinner bill, but was rectified on checkout.
What a gem, felt welcome from the moment we arrived. The staff are so friendly, the bedrooms are gorgeous and comfortable.. Perfect location, close to all the things Christchurch has to offer :)
