- The rooms were quite dated and the building our room was in felt a bit rough.

Lovely staff at check-in and breakfast
it could have been a little cleaner (there was hair on the shower curtain and thick dust on the skirting boards and windows)
Great location- near park (headache free transport into Stirling) and ride, motorway, restaurants.
Good size room - family room. Everything was clean and tidy. Easy access and good parking. Breakfast was lovely. Easy checkout.
The rooms were quite dated and the building our room was in felt a bit rough.
Staff, especially the cleaning syaff
The building is unfinished and you can serenrhat there is no maintenance
Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Quiet location outside the city. The restaurant was good.
The check in process: you check-in at the pub building and stay at the building next door. We weren't prepared for that which caused some confusion
Convenient to restaurant next door and Starbucks across the street. Hotel is very near highways to easily access local sights such as the National Wallace Monument, Kelpies and Falkirk Wheel. Although the check-in was in the restaurant next door, clear signage made that easy to access. The waiter who checked us in was very busy but took the time to ask if we’d like dinner reservations and was kind and professional. We were happy to be in his section later on at dinner and delighted to be seated next to a cozy, table height electric fireplace in a quiet corner of the restaurant.
The location was convenient for travelers but very difficult to find without a street number! The sign for the business park where the hotel is was a tiny afterthought on a rotary, very easy to miss in the dark of a rainy early evening! With no place to turn around for over a half mile further on, it was quite a challenge to find! I’d suggest asking the hotel in advance for their street number to put in your GPS. The street number didn’t appear on our booking.com reservation. There was lots of hair in the shower/tub left by a previous guest and the toilet seat was broken and askew.
This was a fairly typical hotel type room. The beds were comfortable and it was clean. The staff, both at check-in and in the pub were absolutely lovely and very funny. They really made our stay. Location was perfect for visiting Stirling Castle.
Marston Inns was most like United States Holiday Inn or Best Western in the sense that you know what you are going to get. Clean and comfortable at relatively fair prices. Dinner and Breakfast we both great--at the Restaurant next door.
Really nothing-- Liked what we experienced.
The staff were friendly and very helpful in navigating us to our rooms. I liked the easy check-out process. The restaurant food was tasty and I liked the views from the dining area. The room was fairly small, but it worked!
It was a little confusing to first check-in at the restaurant and then walk across the street to the rooms. The interior of the building felt a little dilapidated. The room was quite small.
Easy to access by bicycles, comfortable bed, large television, nice shelf in the bathroom, quiet room, handy restaurant and fast food (Gregg’s and Starbucks)
Fixed shower head, no conditioner, no designated under cover place to store bicycles overnight
The property and staff were terrible ! Our room upon check in had a water bucket with filthy water filled in the middle of the room. Plus there was scrap and dirty all over the carpet. And open boxes of work material on the table !! The staff that’s another story which I will be escalating with the hotel GM
We had to check out in 40 mins and have put up a request for refund and awaiting the hotel GM Mr Matteo to revert on ! This is a serious matter and made us feel sick and we had apprised the duty personnel in depth as well
The room was very comfortable and clean. We enjoyed the meals we ate at the restaurant. The staff were kind and helpful.
Clean and comfortable, friendly and helpful staff.
The staff were friendly.
The room was dated and in need of TLC—stained carpet, mold on the ceiling in the WC, air con not working.
Well located to Sterling if you are traveling by car.
Kind of strange set up. Hotel is across the street from registration, which is located in the bar/resturant. A/c, as in most of Scotland is poor at best.
Good price and decent location with car. Good parking. Easy to access.
Bed could be more comfortable.
The staff was the best. Helpful, kind and caring…especially Cameron. He was our waiter all 3 nights running and went out of his way to be helpful to us.The food was great with good pricing. We ate dinner there all 3 nights.
The beds were on the hard side. I know we asked for twins and usually people think children when you do that but adults need a bit more comfort after a long days touring.
This is a good location, an easy drive to the Castle. Big parking lot with restaurant and gas. Room adequate but nothing special. There are stairs.
You need to ask for housekeeping or you don't receive it.
