Pros +
- Great location - beautiful building and decor - staff very attentive.
- Excellent service from friendly staff in this elegant Victorian villa in a peaceful location within easy walking distance from the centre of Stirling. Generously-proportioned room with a very comfortable bed, looking out over some of the gardens of Stirling. It all made for a wonderful stay.
- Location is great for walking into town and castle but in a quiet area so no traffic or noise. The victorian house has retained its original features in great condition and has tasteful quality furnishings. Our room was spacious clean and there were some lovely unexpected touches like Bath robes and complimentary sherry The bed was very comfortable and shower was great. We loved the breakfasts which are cooked to your preference and time so you don't wait and service was perfect. We would recommend that you book dinner in the restaurant if you stay here we really enjoyed the experience. Service is impeccable and the quality ingredients are prepared and presented with attention to detail by a skilled chef. Overall our stay exceeded expectations and would like to thank everyone for making our visit feel special.
Cons -
- Cooked breakfast a little disappointing.

- The TV is a little small for the size of room. We had room 1 which is on the same floor as the dining room so if your not dining there is a little noise from dinner service, it doesn't go on late so shouldn't disturb sleeping.

Excellent location. Breakfast was lovely and room very clean and comfortable.
Parking is limited for the hotel but there is parking on the street.
We were so impressed by this exceptionally beautiful, tasteful and comfortable hotel. Effusive staff, wonderful furnishings and great value for money - an absolute gem!
Other than having to leave(!), the only slight negative is the very limited car parking.
We loved our rooms at Victoria Square! The rooms were very spacious and charming with the period pieces and big windows. We also appreciated that our room included a mini fridge in comparison to the other places we'd stayed on our trip. The bathroom was also nice and modern. Breakfast was very tasty, and the staff were very nice and helpful in the mornings when asking about things to do and recommendations for the area. We also enjoyed how close Victoria Square was to restaurants, Stirling Castle, and the Holyrood Church. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to come again!
There was a spider and a few ceiling cobwebs in our room, but I feel this is to be expected on the lower floor of old houses.
Lovely victorian house, friendly staff. Classic features and a lovely quiet area so close to everything.
Afternoon tea could have had better variety of sandwiches. That's just my personal opinion. Like coronation chicken, cheese and ham, egg. It was good though.
We had an amazing experience at this charming hotel in Stirling. It’s located on a quiet, picturesque square just a short 5–10 minute walk from the town centre, making it the perfect base for exploring without needing the car.The hotel itself is a beautiful old house full of character, with spacious, well-appointed rooms. Our room was on the lower floor overlooking the garden, featuring a large, comfortable bed and spotless surroundings. The thoughtful touches, like a welcoming glass of sherry and a mini fridge stocked with drinks and snacks, made us feel right at home. From start to finish, the hospitality was exceptional. The staff were warm and attentive, taking time to explain everything upon arrival. The complimentary sherry decanter was a lovely gesture. The food was outstanding. We enjoyed an evening meal that began with delicious canapés before moving into the dining room for a beautifully prepared dinner—compliments to the chef! Breakfast was equally impressive, with hot dishes ordered the night before and served promptly, alongside a selection of cereals, fruit, and yogurt.Overall, this hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, character, and top-notch service in Stirling.
Everything about this residence is outstanding. Decent parking at venue and paid on-street if required, lovely welcome at reception, gorgeous building, complimentary sherry, minibar available, good shower, excellent breakfast and attentive staff
I could not find fault with the place. Bar availability for a drink in the sitting room would be a welcome touch - if possible - but this is not an issue.
It was a beautiful old manor, the staff were lovely and the breakfast was excellent.
Lovely old building with a lot of old features.Easy parking, great surroundings.A stones throw from the castle.Staff are amazing, polite, courteous.Room was so comfy, loved it !Shame I have to go home today.Highly recommended.
That's its so far from my own house ?

Great location, quiet but close in
We stayed two nights in a basement room, didn’t want to leave windows open so it was stuffy. We never saw anyone to talk to about help.
Location is very nice. Quiet, good neighbourhood and just few mins walk to city centre. The room is spacious, clean and staff are quite friendly and helpful.
Not the cheapest in town and it would be great if they can offer more choice for the continental breakfast (at the self served counter).
This was a slice of heaven. If i had endless funds, I would have stayed for days. The room for a single had a double bed versus the hot dog shaped beds in some properties. The room was designed for comfort and rest. Nice chair near the window and easily moved to get the stretch in at the end of the day. BREAKFAST - Wow - Lovely - Exquisite - THANK YOU!!!
No one's fault - Remember that there are no elevators. NO PROBLEM. Handled with ease by members of the staff. Plan accordingly and folks will help.

Breakfast and Location were perfect. We also used their restaurant facility and enjoyed a super meal there too.
A couple of things, it's not 5 star, the condition of the carpets going downstairs were old and dirty. When you stay in a hotel you expect to pay when checking out. However, for the evening meal they insisted on payment there and then which I thought was a little petty.
Beautiful B&B in beautiful location. Easy walk to city centre. View of Stirling Castle from our room. Room was lovely.
