We've stayed a couple of times previously I booked the suite which was so much better than standard double room bed was comfortable great having a balcony staff food we're lovely
Balcony needs a good powerwasher clean and chairs pillows not that great in bed
breakfast
cob webs above bed and an assault course to get to room with a disabled partner ,food ok but nothing special
Food and some staff were lovely and the location
The noise coming from the guy next door, absolutely no consideration for anyone else staying there. Also had to ask what to do about breakfast which I thought would've been explained when I checked in.
Friendly staff, clean room. I booked a twin as they were slightly bigger than the doubles. Beds were easily pushed together.
The heated towel rail was right next to the space to enter the walk in shower. Someone could easily burn themselves on it unless they strategically covered it in towels beforehand.
It was central, staff were lovely, friendly and helpful.Food on point and numerous seating area's
I paid for a room with a balcony but I was unable to access it as door was swollen due to bad weather the balcony was wooden and obviously very wet due to poor weather and thergore not suitable to go out at all which was a great pity
Easy to find, room decor was nice, plenty hanging space. Beds for us were comfortable
The bathroom despite the radiator being on high was freezing,
For an overnight it was really good, food we had was delicious, service was great. Food and drinks were all reasonable priced. Room was nice and spacious, we had 3 single beds and we had the best ever fluffy towels in the bathroom.
Only thing I could say is the room was a bit to hot for me so had to have the windows open, could have done better with the toiletries, shampoo & conditioner probably a small cake of soap instead of the dispenser. Could have done with a room nearer dining room and bar because of parents disabilities, in hindsight I could have asked.
Room was lovely, comfy and quiet. Staff all super and very welcoming.
Attractive hotel on the village square,I arrived before the 3pm check-in.Lovely, friendly reception staff checked if my room was ready, which it was and kindly allowed me to check in.I stayed in room 1.Compact room but cosy and has everything you need, modern walk-in shower.Small balcony.Spotlessly clean.Free wi-fi.Delicious breakfast.
Noise from corridors.I stayed at a quieter time of year so I think it could be very noisy during busier times.Creaky floors, but it is an old hotel.
Staff were lovely room comfortable food great
All good
My 4th visit and love how homely it feels
Breakfast was expensive
Rooms and grounds were clean and well maintained. The pub on-site was very good. Nice atmosphere and good food. Beds were comfortable. Pub next door was a good time as well, mostly locals.
We only stayed one night, on a road trip. So didn't experience anything negative. Did notice there was a tour bus staying over the same night. However, we never really saw any crowding there.
Fire in bar area made it cosy.
I was finished breakfast and husband didn't receive his.x
Clean, staff amazing, food fantastic.
Car par spaces limited at times.
I booked a single bed, got upgraded to a double.Staff very helpful and so polite. Room was perfect after a long wet hike, plenty of tea and coffee in the room, onsuite was great and the bed, comfortable..included in the price was a full Scottish cooked breakfast which was cooked to perfection.shall be coming again.
If I had to be very picky and I mean very picky, the tv cant be turned round to face the bed, not that I needed to use it.
