- Great location. Great shower. Good bed. Met most of my needs.
- Nothing.I was only guest staying here. No staff based on site or after 6pm, so it was just me and the bed bugs.
- Absolutely terrible
Cons -
- Stairs
- Room not clean. Carpet stained, bed stained, bathroom looked very tired and dated.Door to outside street didn't feel very secure.Very disappointing accommodation, and if I'd have read further feedback from other review sites, I wouldn't have stayed.Arguably one of the worst places I've stayed.
- This was the worst ‘hotel’ I’ve ever stayed in. Not only was the room dirty but the toilet in the bathroom flooded due to improper drain connection. You could hear the road and the other guests through paper thin walls- it was the most uncomfortable stay- we spent as little time as possible in the room and left at dawn. The hotel, if you can even call it that, did not have the ‘bar/restaurant’ open for guests and there was no staff after 5pm. I would never stay here and will never recommend this place.

Cosy room, comfy & clean bed, welcoming staff, central location, good selection of teas/coffees/Tunnocks treats in room
Dirty/stained carpet, marks on wall, mould in corners, TV doesn’t work properly, staff only on site for a few hours, no longer a restaurant or bar downstairs so benefit of discount didn’t apply, guttering needs cleaning which resulting in being woken with pounding rain on windowsill area. Website/Facebook page has to be updated to honestly describe/state what is currently on offer which feels more like a hostel than a hotel. Very unloved & rundown building, needs a lot of investment to improve.
Close to train station
Didn’t open until 2pm. Unable to drop our luggage and explore before check-in. Three flights to out room, no lift. Small room, uncomfortable, saggy mattress.
The location is very central to the train station and most any attraction in the city. The apartment is well decorated, and has all of the amenities that a family could need. Comfortable beds and a nice set up for 4-5 people.
The tradeoff is that it was fairly noisy late at night because it is above a bar. There was a large gathering on the street outside in the wee hours of Sunday morning. There are winding stairs to reach the 2 bedroom apartment, but it is to be expected in an older building. Could use a coat of paint to freshen it up.
Comfortable bed, great location.
Needed some updates, like old carpet, but room was great.
It had a nice shower and good bed . Good restaurants within walking distance.
It was difficult to find . Parking was little difficult to find
Liked location
WiFi didn’t work and not having staff available until 2:00 pm wasn’t convenient
The girl who greeted us.
Not at all like the pictures. Extremely small and very dirty
The location
This was not a clean property, and had it been refundable, we would have walked out to find another place to stay. The carpet looked like it had never been vacuumed. It was very stained and had chip crumbs on the floor by the table. The bathroom shower was also moldy.
Location is very close to many restaurants and shops. Very convenient to everything we wanted in the town.
The hotel could have been a bit cleaner, but wasn’t terrible. There is a lot of walking to get to the rooms, with many doors and stairs involved.
Very convenient to fun and interesting locations in Stirling. Convenient parking!
Was a bit difficult, at first to find the parking lot and navigate the building to find the apartment. Once found all was easy!
Perfect location, right on the main pedestrian area. The room size was bigger than average.
Very old and tired furniture and decor. Slow drain, had to shower in phases so as not to flood the bathroom.
Room was clean. The person who handled our arrival was very nice. She gave us some suggestions for where to have an early breakfast which we appreciated. We were able to have the property hold our luggage for the day, and it was conveniently located near the train station with lits of places to eat nearby.
The person who was minding the property when we picked up our luggage didn't seem to notice us removing our luggage. She was not the same person who handled our check in. It didn't seem very secure. There were other bags there - we could have easily helped ourselves to those too!
The hotel is right in the middle of Stirling with great advantage of a parking lot adjacent to the back door. Stirling Castle is just a few hundred yards away
somewhat dingy-was clean but needs update. street oise at night makes sleeping difficult
Central location.
The room had a new-ish bathroom, but the room itself was “tired”. There isn’t really a registration desk, the bartender gives you a key. The location of my room was near the back parking lot, which was convenient, but the security at the back door to the parking lot was really not ok. I put a chair with my backpack on it, against the door. Wouldn’t recommend for female solo travelers.
Location was very good in the heart of Stirling downtown district.
Rooms were very dated and small. The weather was unseasonably warm and when we requested a fan we were told there were only three and they were already in use. It seems they should be able to provide one per room. No lift, be prepared to climb steps. Long term parking is off site. Staff available only for check in. We had an issue with the room key no longer working and the emergency number did not go through as written on a US based cell phone. It took us over an hour to crack the code so as to contact an employee so we could retrieve our bags.
the location was central and close to the bus and train stations.
When we arrived we could not identify the door to check in. Apparently we were to check in at the bar below the rooms, but that was not clear. We and another couple wanted to drop our bags around 12:30. Everything was closed up - we couldn't figure out how to get in. We went to the back and found our way in and hollered for someone and a kind maintenance man led us to a place to leave our bags. Just not a great first impressions. The halls were very dark with many doors to pass through to get to our room.
