Good

The room was so cold and even with the heating cranked up to 25° took ages to get cosy. Heating system was noisy but required to be running all night.

Room was small but comfortable. Breakfast was good and the whole package was very good value for money.

Efficient, friendly and welcoming staff. Good location, comfortable, good breakfast included.

Rooms were a nice size and beds comfortable.

Pillows a bit hard and quite cold.

Breakfast was excellent and staff were very pleasant and could not do enough for you, asking how everything was, and cleaning all used items off your table. We stayed for 3 nights and each day was the same.

There was really nothing to dislike, we have stayed here several times and would not be returning if we ever had a problem. The reception staff, the restaurant staff and all your domestic staff were superb.

Room 19, problem with the heating in the room not providing heat, but the team responded excellently by providing a remote heater, which supplied adequate warmth for the room

We loved the size of the bed, the great buffet breakfast and the fabulous staff!

Very poor

First room on the 1st floor had no heating. When complained the staff were aware. We were moved to a second room on ground floor. Which unfortunately had a group of young guests who banged doors talked, laughed and generally misbehaved all night. After politely asking them after midnight to be quiet they just continued. Sadly I then had to go to reception who were aware of the situation as others had complained. But nothing happened and hence no sleep all night. I complained to the duty manager the next morning who was aware of the problem and offered to reimburse through booking.com. Most disappointingly we received no reimbursement and no apology. Had to move room as dreadful humming noise was deafening.
