Wonderful people working here, comfortable rooms!

Staff was very friendly and helpful

Hotel is a bit dated and over priced

Friendly staff food was good and location was excellent

Nothing was all ok bit noisy upstairs though

All the staff very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Really good breakfast and evening meal. Although our wee dog was not allowed in the restaurant the staff made up a table for us in the bar. The hotel and staff were very dog friendly.

Great location, "meh" facility.

Room was VERY hot and fans were dusty / dirty. Had to rig one up by the open window (opened at the top) to pull in cool air from outside.

We loved it here - the family room is large and gives everyone a bit of space! The dinner and breakfast were fantastic and the team at the hotel were friendly!

The bed was large and comfortable and the room was lovely and warm. The shower was very good. We also attended a funeral here and the staff were friendly

It was very basic. The bar and restaurant area was not inviting. We were locked out of the hotel at 9.30pm and had to knock on the door to get in, there was no apology. We don’t feel important as guests. We stayed for two nights and there was no housekeeping at all in the room

I loved how spacious it was,and the view outside

The toilet was a bit different to flush and there was noise seemed like a plumbing noise it was persistent from 10pm till 3am in the morning so I was unable to get much sleep

Well located next to big park and museum, great if travelling with dogs.

The heating wasn’t switched on until 18:00, we were a bit cold in the room until then.

Restaurant food was such high quality at very reasonable/low prices. Locals use the bar/restaurant which gives it a great warm feeling.
