Pros +

  • Interesting location. Out of the way, therefore nice and quiet.
  • Not far from motorway but nice and quiet. Comfortable beds. Nice and warm.
  • I liked that they take dogs , even although this time I didn’t bring mine . No that I know where it is, I think it is a very convenient stop. The room and the bed were comfortable and I felt safe for a one night stay

Cons -

  • Very hard bed. Bright light right outside the door combined with a window in the door made the room way too light for sleeping. The pillows were completely flat also.
  • I didn’t like not having a fridge and I didn’t like the fact that it was hard to find despite putting in the postcode . The ‘Brewer’s Fare’ is now clearly a Premier Inn and the signs aren’t visible until you are down the road , if you happen to find the right road . Without seeming grumpy, I didn’t appreciate the tone when I phoned to ask for directions. I’d driven a very long way . When I eventually arrived I was told that ‘it’s funny , some people find it ok and some people don’t ‘ So maybe making the directions clearer might be a good idea
  • Rushes check in, didn't get directed to my accommodation despite it being dark outside.Bathroom freezing

Lovely room in a great location just a short drive to Stirling and Falkirk. Everything was great and I'll definitely come back

Would've been good if there was some shower gel

8AnnePosted on: 11-22-2025

Ideal for an overnight stop, though there's loads to do in the area. Communication was good, room was perfect.

Electric shower could be a bit better, but did the job.

Nice and quiet. Spacious room. Good tv. Very warm.. pubs close by to get food.beds comfy, had a good night's sleep. Easy check in and excellent parking. Nice bit of grass area to walk dogs, nice bench to sit out on if weather is nice. Room was warm when arrived. Definitely stay again. Nice for dogs.

Just cold tap needed mending. Maybe just add a few toiletries and a bit more selection on drinks like herbal tea.

Clean and comfortable basic room. Very welcoming and helpful staff . Well located for various historic sights around sterling and was ideal with the little garden when travelling with dogs !

Clean, warm, quiet and a lovely garden area.

Good location within comfortable driving distance of Stirling, just off the motorway with a pub/restaurant within easy walking distance. Room and toilet were fine, garden was really nice, very quiet location. Checking in was very simple, friendly member of staff greeted us and gave us some advice where to visit in Stirling. Dogs welcome which was essential (with a £10 fee) Room was warm and there was a free-view style TV.

Nothing I didn’t like. Suited the purpose of our trip just fine (one night as a stop off)No fridge or cooking facilities but as we were only stopping the one night this was no issue to us.

Exceptional

The only issue was the TV had no signal so its a long time to be a room with no TV to watch at night when you have a 3 year old with you that goes to bed at 8pm.

Nice place, quiet

The beds were not very comfortable and there was no spare pillows.

8JoniPosted on: 10-11-2025

The room was nice, had kettle tea/coffeee. Bed was really comfy. The surroundings are nice too. Would come and stay again.

The water in the shower wasn’t hot enough, and the water from the tap was cold. We did mention it to the owner, but nothing could be done to rectify it.

Handy to a restaurant for meals. Nice garden

The shower ran cold. There needed to be more instructions on how to use it. No bodywash in shower which is usual in most places like this. Pretty minimalist.

8GwynethPosted on: 10-3-2025

Spacious room, easy check-in. Site attractive with flower beds and lawn.

No central light so a bit gloomy. Torn bedding and hard pillows.

8MatthewPosted on: 9-29-2025

Nice bedroom with a comfy bed. Nice and warm in the room too. For what I paid it was decent.

The WiFi was a bit hit and miss.

Very clean and great location for visiting Stirling

I know these things happen but we could next get into one of the rooms we booked because a previous occupant had taken the key and had returned to the property after it was cleaned and ready for us and had the. Locked the door and taken the key with them. Fortunately the owners daughter sorted this all out for us but it meant we could not checking at 3.00 as promised and had to wait until we returned after the event at 10.30 but it was all resolved for us but them. The owners daughter was brilliant in sorting all this out for us and we really appreciate her going the extra mile to sort this out for us as the owner was on holiday. However the accommodation is excellent and finished to a very high standard.

Spotlessly clean & pleasant unit in a quiet location. 12 drive from Stirling town centre. Great value for money.

Can't fault this place.

7LeannePosted on: 8-31-2025

Conveniently located. Easy to check in and out.

The shower temperature was possible to regulate but that may have been due to other guests showering at the same time.

10DavidPosted on: 8-30-2025

Clean new build accommodation. Quiet location. Nice garden. Off street parking. Close to a pub.

Just one minor thing that probably says more about me than anything else. The upstairs room has a sloped ceiling so being a tall man I knocked my head a few times.
