Nothing i didn't like
Perfect location, superb breakfast.
A bit bigger size of sauna and steam rooms.
Great sized bedroom and comfortable, very good value for money.
Room service was disappointing - difficult to place an order and then waited a long time.
All of it. Girls get away weekend and we arrived to a christmas market too! Loved it
They hide the hair dryer We could not find it for love nor money so spoke to reception on the way out and they explained where it was. Basically hidden under something.
Wet helpful and beautiful room and hotel . Food was amazing
Efficient, polite, welcoming and helpful. Comfortable rooms. Great facilities
Sugar cubes too big
We originally stayed for one pre-booked night and the room was lovely – very spacious, clean and excellent value for money. We enjoyed it so much that we decided to book a second night. The hotel itself is in a nice setting and our first room was comfortable and well presented.
Unfortunately, our second night was very disappointing. We requested to stay in the same room and were initially told we could for an extra £30, which I agreed to. Five minutes later we were told the rooms were fully booked for Valentine’s Day. We were then promised we could move into another room at 11am the following morning instead of waiting until 2pm.However, when 11am came, we were asked to leave the room by the morning reception staff who appeared unaware of the arrangement and were quite rude about it. We were left without a room until after 12:30pm.The second room was in the basement and felt much more run down, especially the bathroom which was dirty and had no hot water in the shower. There was also no phone signal. Although it was similar in size to the first room (minus the balcony, which we didn’t mind due to the weather), it did not feel worth the additional £90 we paid. The bed was also two twin beds zipped together, which kept separating and was uncomfortable. This was particularly upsetting as my boyfriend proposed to me on Valentine’s Day, so the extra night was meant to be a special surprise and celebration. Sadly, the experience did not match the occasion.
comfortable beds and clean
brought tickets to live show was stuck at back of room along with others like was a last thought added because poor attendance, food wasnt that great and pool was freezing
We liked the sauna, buble bath, big swimming pool. The bedroom was really big and comfortable. The bathroom was spotless clean and was everything what we need. The staff were so helpful and kind. We had a problem with a windows and the staff solve the problem within 5 minutes. The breakfast was brilliant and a lots of choice.
The evening meal was far from satisfactory. We had to send one dish back. The waiter was very helpful and offerd another option. The second dish was inedible.
The spa and especially the Hunnington restaurant. The head waiter, Ben, gave a first class service!
Clean , welcoming
Poor Meal in the Hunnington Grill , stone cold steak
We stayed in the luxury suite which was lovely, ate in the bar and food was good and reasonable price
It took a while for the water to heat up and wasn't very hot
Location Restaurants and bar Staff Spa & pool
The room was ok but several areas / furnishings were not up to an acceptable standard
The overall experience was great. The room was great, brekfast lovely. The use of the facilities is a great bonus. I will definitely be back and will recommend it to my friends.
I wish the room had a small fridge. I didn't like the mattresses on the loungers by the pool. I find it unhygienic and really don't understand the reason why would you put a mattress in a place like that
Welcome and restaurant/bar service was excellent.
Room wasn’t clean, charger points on both sides of bed didn’t work. Needed to run water for 10 minutes before hot water arrived. After first night went out for the day, arrived back to find room not made up, was then told between 4-5pm. Shocked as get better service at a Premier Inn!
The room was very spacious and nice. The golf course views are lovely.Breakfast was great with lots of options.
In the afternoon the pool / spa facilities are very crowded (if you go early in the morning before breakfast it’s a lot better).Service in the steak restaurant was extremely slow / had wrong items brought / items forgotten etc.The hot water in the room wasn’t that reliable (had to run shower for a while)
Check in was easy, staff were very friendly and helpful
The swimming pool was very cold, the rooms heater didn’t heat the room, slept in clothes and two duvets, breakfast in the morning was cold and generally just not great. We always strip our beds to help the staff when we leave, the sheets were clean but the mattress protector underneath was full of dark hairs (were blonde) and stains. The room we were in was clearly the cheaper ones, wobbly tile on the floor, stained grout, broken bath panel. The bedroom was clean and a nice size but almost the furthest away so a long walk to get anywhere. Overall it was nice to had some time away for our anniversary but it was very disappointing compared to other places We’ve been previous years
