The staff are very friendly and helpful. I had a few problems but these were rectified promptly. The car park is an added bonus as parking in Folkestone can be a problem at times. Reasonably priced hotel.

Cons -

I have been able to stay in the same acceptable comfortable room for every booking but the hotel does need renovation in some areas .
The shower was very poor - the water pressure just wasn't there and the bathroom itself was incredibly small and difficult to move in. The staff were friendly and efficient, except they had poor English skills and therefore breakfast orders came out wrong
the hotel is simply old, and the recent "renovations" only try to hide its age.
