Cons -
- If daily room cleaning would be an ideal as I found out that one of the day was not cleaned my room. If no noise policy after 10:00 pm would be an ideal as some of the rooms were kept on loud music on even after 11:00 pm.
- We stopped there a week ago and it was lovely and clean ,but this time the room was not so nice the toilet was not clean and I had to leave the fan on all night as you had a real bad smell of toilet smells in there that come into the bedroom
- They don't do breakfast as yet

Nice welcome sorted out the parking for a small charge nice and clean hotel
They don't do breakfast as yet
Lovely big and comfy room (no,.4) Cosy warm after a long windy and wet walk to Hythe and back! Great location for the beach, shops and restaurants.
Cheap and convenient location
Services were basic, staff took too long to check us in, overall the smell of the hotel wasn't good, the bathroom had water drainage issues, and towels didn't look clean.
The location was great, clean and comfortable
Space, clean, friendly staff, location. Lots of tea, coffee & toiletries.
No parking near the Hotel.
Staff very friendly bedroom very good.
Bathroom needs updating shower cubicle especially
Location was directly opposite Leas Cliff where we attended a function. Room had all we needed for a night and was cheap.
Was right on top floor, no lift, ok for us but someone less fit may struggle. No breakfast.
Fab location. Comfortable and clean accommodation
Room was dated. Bed squeaked badly.
Close to the town and seafront carpark right opposite
Close to the town and seafront carpark right opposite
Very friendly people excellent location
External work being done but not intrusive
Well situated, clean and tidy. We were up graded to larger family room.
The mattress could do with replacing on the double bed.
Lovely older hotel but well looked after
Mattress was a bit uncomfortable and squeaky beds
It was literally over the road from the Leas Cliff Hall & had sea views. It was warm & spacious.
It looks unpromising from outside & a little tired in places.
Staff were lovely and accommodation great for what I needed ie just a night. Street was noisy early hours but that’s not the Portlands fault. Room was surprisingly soundproofed to the club music
Room was very hot as I kept the window closed due to expected street noise.
Price, location,
Pub/ club way of ok noisy at night
Good Value for money . Room was clean comfortable , Staff very helpful. All we needed for our stay
Nothing !!
