    Pros +

    • Close to local amenities and very good food/drink provided. Lovely garden and seating area.
    • We had a pleasant stay at the Inn. The innkeeper could not have been more accommodating. We had car trouble and she took the time to drive us to the repair shop not once but twice. We had dinner at the Inn which was excellent and unfortunately did not have time for the full breakfast. The rooms are charming with everything you would need. Would stay again!
    • The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The room was lovely and bed very comfortable. The breakfast was amazing. Plenty of choice for the continental and the option to have cooked food as well for an additional charge. It was delicious.

    Cons -

    • Can’t guarantee to get a parking space outside the hotel.
    • The windows in the room were draughty. Proper old sash windows are lovely but we had to use the heater in the room. Otherwise everything was perfect.
    • Nothing. Couldn't fault our stay.

This lovely boutique hotel sits in a great location on Tenterden High Street so easy to walk around town and explore. We received a very warm welcome and appreciated the beautifully appointed room and bathroom. We were only staying one night so opted for a small double at the front. Yes, it's busy during the day but very little traffic in the evening so no problem with noise. We slept soundly. There is a car park within 5 minutes walking distance, and not very expensive (free 6pm-8am). There is a charming guest lounge, and and a small bar and restaurant both decorated beautifully and very comfortable. We would certainly stay again. Thank you for a lovely stay.

    Nothing. Couldn't fault our stay.

The staff were friendly and helpful, especially for parking. The rooms and pub below were beautifully furnished and clean. The continental breakfast (included in the room price) was delicious, including some local cheeses. The room was just bigger than the bed but the bathroom was a good size. The local town has some lovely little shops and restaurants.

A little warm at night but we would definitely return.

Liked the location and the quirkiness of the place

Struggled with the kettle. Wasn't able to get a full cup of tea

Bedroom too small for 2 people. Didn’t like feather quilt and pillows. Drinks far too expensive.

    8SuePosted on: 4-10-2025

Enjoyed our stay. Conveniently situated for the ES&K steam railway & Chapel Down Vineyard. Plenty of walks in the area. Downside was the noise from the road.

Very friendly and helpful service, great continental breakfast, lovely thoughtful touches and a great location to explore a lot of nice shops and restaurants made for a good stay

A smaller room and be aware it is next to traffic lights on the main road (we've stayed in quieter spots)

Its character, location, ambience, breakfast, welcome and attention.

We parked directly outside and were lucky to get a space as there appeared to be only three spaces.

Lovely little pub stay, nice high quality finishes, cosy and comfortable!

There isn’t parking but we were lucky to arrive early and park out the front. Breakfast was included in our stay but we as selected a hot breakfast on the day we were charged!

Very welcoming. Lovely breakfast. Bedroom clean with lots of thoughtful extras and great bathroom and shower. Also had dinner here which was delicious.

Warm, cosy pub with great food, beer and wine. The room was also perfect. Will definitely stay again.

    9SarahPosted on: 2-23-2025

Room was well thought out regarding space. Downstairs area was nice for a drink or meal.

The coffee machine was good for coffee but making tea from it wasn't. You could taste the coffee when you made tea

    10HelenPosted on: 2-17-2025

Delicious, well priced and well portioned.

On main road but quietens down overnight and ear plugs are provided

Beautiful characterful property. Open fires and nice seating areas. Very cosy in a winter evening.

The room was a little small, however was what we exp cited and not an issue for one njght.

    8CharlottePosted on: 2-3-2025

The bed was very comfy, it was quiet and great location and clean.

Tv signal didn’t really work and bathroom was cold.

The Print House is very comfortable with lovely decor and wood burners. The staff are very welcoming and friendly.

    9LucillePosted on: 1-30-2025

I liked the contemporary furnishings and finish of the room and bathroom. It was a nice temperature and comfortable. The room was really well equipped too. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was delicious. We opted to have the cooked breakfast at additional cost but the continental breakfast (included) was lovely too.

The room was a little small with limited space round the bed.

Clean, nice decor, dog friendly, very welcoming

A little expensive, but then you pay for quality
