breakfast was very nice, lots of options. the restaurant area is very attractive and comfortable, the staff were very helpful and friendly

the bed was not the most comfortable, a bit hard and springy, but fine. tv was hard to use, couldn't watch on demand services -those i subscribe to.

The breakfast, and location were both perfect. We travelled down from Cheltenham for a birthday and it was ideal for us, right near the shopping centre and the train station.

The parking situation was a big problem for us, the hotel car park has to be pre-booked which we weren't aware of and once we got to the hotel the man at check-in gave us a list of all suitable car parks and where they are. he first one - and closest - wasn't even open, it was padlocked shut and didn't look like somewhere I'd feel safe leaving my car overnight. The car park we did use was about a 10min walk away and if you park after 6pm (I believe) it was free for 24hrs and this was great, but would've preferred to have been in the hotel car park.

Very good breakfast with friendly staff. Early check in is charged howewever the staff registered us with the loyalty program so thedidn't scharged us.rooms quiet.

Great amenities, very friendly and helpful staff, and comfortable room. The decoration and lighting was well chosen and gave the room a very homey feel. Will definitely stay here again.

- location was good- parking was private and secure (but really expensive) - breakfast was very thorough and good quality - room was smaller but well laid out - beds/pillows were comfortable - good shower

- parking was expensive - absolutely no garbage or recycle to be found outside of the rooms - the fifth floor hallway had VERY stagnant and smelly air- we had to ask for extra towels and then our request was forgotten so we had to ask again late at night - no spare blanket - no microwave in the room and they refused to heat anything for us despite having the ability because they have signs at breakfast offering to warm croissants up.

Location is a bit awkward at the corner of two large roadways. For the short walk into town you will spend half of the time just waiting to cross these roads.

Clean and convenient location for us when we need to be in Ashford

Very hard uncomfy beds and stuff atmosphere as the windows don't open. It also smells stale

Having to pay a £50 deposit on arrival? What's all that about? Not exactly the message you want to receive on a arrival. I was told it was to secure the cost of any services the hotel provided, but as far as I could see, the hotel did not provide any services! One of the only two lifts was out of order with the hotel awaiting a part from Germany (who installs a lift in a hotel requiring parts to be shipped from abroad when it breaks down??). At the end of the day, this is a comfortable hotel in a good location but it has no frills. It is very similar to a Travel lodge, only twice the price.

The room was a good size and the beds very comfortable. The doors were thick and so there was no noise and I could sleep very well. Breakfast is good but not exceptional. On the day I went which was a date many people went on vacation, I was lucky to arrive and get the last parking space available. Generally a good hotel choice and I would go again if I had to take a very early Eurotunnel the next day, which was my case. Staff were very helpful and pleasant.

I am being a little picky here as the hotel served its function perfectly, however, the quality of some of the ingredients for breakfast could be improved

The room was very clean, with tea and ironing facilities. The king bed was comfortable and I liked the seating area. Breakfast as an inclusion was an added benefit.

Friendly helpful staff, Great Breakfast, brilliant shower and the air conditioning was spot on.It was a hot weekend with temperature hitting 30c 86f with a 52% humidity. Yet my room was a very cool 18c 64f. The bed was very comfortable.

Close to station

Reception will take £50 in addition to booking regardless of visitors wishes something sneaky then the hotel holds onto your money for a full week quite a nice little earner for the hotel sitting on all customers money for all that time. It certainly makes you feel conned and for thus reason I wouldn’t consider this hotel again.
