Very clean Breakfast was lovely, not cheap ingredients either.Staff were friendly

The room was quite warm even after turning the radiator off. I should have asked reception for a fan which I’m sure they would have had so my fault

We arrived on Sunday 15th March 2026. We were given room 12 which was nice and clean. We discovered radiator not working later that night. Next morning told manager who said he would have a look at it. Monday night working which was only night it worked we had booked to Thursday 19 February. We were in our room and around 10.45 pm on Tuesday 17 th someone came to the door and opened it with a key showing us she had a key to room 12. She went back to reception. We did tell the manager the next mornimg and said he would look into it. Not a nice experience and not one I would like to experience on my own

The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly, the room had everything it was quite,

No lift but not to big a deal made me get my steps in

The property was in an excellent location just round the corner from where I needed to be.

I missed breakfast on both days as I had to be at the venue early, I asked if I could get a take away breakfast even if it was just a bacon sandwich & was told no that wasn’t possible so disappointing.

The location is brilliant - I can walk to the train station to commute to London, there is a Leisure Centre round the corner and there are several restaurants within walking distance. The staff are really great and the breakfast was very good - all in all the hotel offers excellent value for money

My room (22) turned out to be next to a "cupboard" which contained the pipework for the heating system. As it was very cold (temperatures dropped below 0) the heating kicked in at 3.30 in the morning, to stop the pipes freezing and as the pipes aren't lagged, the noise meant I hardly slept from 3.30 onwards. i have reported this and hopefully they will sort it for future guests

The staff were very nice, and the breakfast was very good.However, during our stay, there was a rock concert on the property that lasted until midnight.Our room was located directly above where the concert took place.We were informed about the concert beforehand and were told that closing the window would minimize the noise.Unfortunately, that was not the case — the noise was still quite loud till 12 pm

Great stay. Well equipped room. Good wifi. Breakfast was from 7 which was good. Good breakfast. Lovely staff

Thin walls so could hear the blokes arguing next door for ages but you get thin walls in lots of places

Was a bed for the night, close to the event we where attending.

The room was cold, no heating and no help given when spoke to staff. Shower heat fluctuated, either too hot or too cold. Bed was very firm, not comfortable.

Lovely staff who obviously took pride in their business,our stay was clean comfortable and very quiet,most welcome after a long journey.

Really good value,would highly recommend.

The staff. Had a tricky situation with a young lad that wanted to start trouble. Was delt with by the staff. Apologised to us for the trouble. They had a live band which was excellent. Called the frog on the moon.

Welcoming, helpful staff, spotlessly clean room (a bonus to have tea and coffee making facilities in the room too) an excellent breakfast and a great bar on the ground floor. Really good value for money too.

We'd probably request a first floor room next time as there are quite a few stairs and corridors to the top floor for my husband who doesn't walk very well.

The service was exceptional and both the lady on reception and gentleman serving breakfast were genuinely wanting to provide a first class service

No freshly brewed coffee…I don’t like granule jar coffee
