Location was very good. Service was excellent.

Breakfast was “tired” but acceptable.

The staff were all happy and helpful. Always acknowledged you even if just walking past reception. The room was excellent, we ordered a family room with twin double beds and not only had them but also a further pull out double bed and a massive corner room. The beds were the most comfy we have had at a hotel and the whole family slept right through the night which was amazing, especially as we have an 8 and 5 year old.

The only thing which isn't a big issue but could do with a ceiling light to make it brighter.

Cleanliness, friendly staff, great room and excellent breakfast.

Location

Although we paid extra for our whippet to stay with us, the area for eating was in the reception area, with the entrance doors opening and closing, somewhat drafty and cold. One member of staff made us feel like second class citizens because of her. Will add 1 reception lady was more than helpful.

Easy to find check in was good and staff were polite

Absolutely perfect. Room very clean and the bed comfy. Breakfast was amazing. Will definitely book holiday inn express again . My new go to first.

Standard size double bed in the family room (king size would have been better; particularly with young children who end up in the same bed)!

Nothing, it was a fabulous experience

The breakfast was good overall. As there were no eggs available the cooked breakfast wasn’t as good as expected.

No eggs at breakfast and no alternative offered. Very little tea/coffee/milk in the room. Although I am aware that we can ask for tea bags at reception it seems to Penny pinching to not supply more than one teabag.

Almost everything

Bed was too hard for both myself and my wife.We both woke with back and shoulder pain.

Very satisfactory breakfast. In a clean and probably recently refurbished area. Well managed by the good number of staff available. Newly refurbished bathroom. Bedroom was absolutely fine.

Miserable receptionist on arrival. The Double bed is too small .. way below the size and standard of those in Premier Inn or Travel Lodge. The TV was older than I am and needs upgrading.

Location was good, staff were helpful and attentive, room was clean.

This is just a minor complaint as I’m sure individuals would have a different opinion. The mattress was very soft and I kept rolling into the centre.
